A beverage dispensing device has a housing with a beverage unit with a liquid inlet and a beverage outlet. The beverage unit has a receiving means for receiving at least two ingredient containers containing a unit dose of an ingredient of the beverage to be dispensed. The beverage unit also has a liquid line in fluid communication with a base liquid source, with the contents of the ingredient containers, when correctly installed in the device, and with the beverage outlet. The liquid line is split into two side lines at a point A, downstream the liquid inlet. Both side lines join in fluid communication at a point B, downstream point A and upstream the beverage outlet, at least one of the ingredient containers in liquid communication with the liquid line at a point M1 downstream point A and upstream point B.

The present application provides a beverage dispensing system for dispensing beverages with low solubility ingredients. The beverage dispensing system may include a sweetener flow, a first diluent flow, a low solubility ingredient premixing system for mixing a low solubility ingredient with a second diluent flow to create a mixed flow, and a nozzle to mix the sweetener flow, the first diluent flow, and the mixed flow.

The disclosure concerns a system including a multi-tower modular dispensing system including at least a first dispensing head and a second dispensing head at a counter, a transfer unit located remotely from the counter, piping extending from the transfer unit to the counter, the transfer unit including a centralized ingredient system having a plurality of beverage ingredient sources, the centralized ingredient system configured to supply beverage ingredients to the piping for the dispensing of a first beverage at the counter, the piping including a main micro bundle, the main micro bundle including at least two separate beverage ingredient lines.

The present invention describes methods and devices in which concentrated beverage products, each packaged in a pressurized container, can be combined with liquids and/or other ingredients to produce one or more servings of a beverage. These products provide users with a convenient way to prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including carbonated beverages) in various serving sizes and quantities by combining the pressurized beverage concentrate with (possibly carbonated) liquids and other ingredients.

A beverage supply apparatus 100 includes milk tank 3, milk flow path L3, pump 7 for delivering a beverage, air flow path L6, pump 9 for supplying air configured to be capable of changing the discharge flow rate, release path L7 for discharging air flowing through air flow path L6 to the outside, on-off valve V7, first throttle part 16, and second throttle part 17. One end of release path L7 is connected to release point Z8 in air flow path L6, and the other end is open to the outside. On-off valve V7 is disposed in a flow path extending between release point Z8 and pump 9 in air flow path L6, and opens and closes this flow path. Throttle part 16 is disposed in a flow path extending downstream of release point Z8 in air flow path L6, and throttle part 17 is disposed in release path L7.

A beverage mixing system provides for accurate, convenient, and reliable mixing of liquid ingredients to dispense drinks. The beverage mixing system includes a plurality of containers each including a liquid ingredient, a pumping system in fluid communication with the plurality of containers, and a fluid manifold where liquid ingredients from the plurality of containers are ultimately combined and dispensed. The fluid manifold includes a plurality of inlet ports to which fluid lines are connected fluidically connecting the plurality of containers to the fluid manifold. The beverage mixing system also includes a control system managing operation of the pumping system to ensure proper mixing of the liquid ingredients to produce fresh drinks containing a mix of the liquid ingredients.

The invention relates to a cartridge system (1) for producing a drink in a drink preparation machine, comprising a cartridge (2) that has a reservoir (6) filed with a drink substance (7), and a cartridge receiver (10) that can be reversibly connected to the cartridge, said cartridge receiver (10) comprising a mixing chamber (8) and a cartridge discharge device (34) which causes at least partial transfer of the drink substance (7) from the reservoir (6) into the mixing chamber (8), and said cartridge receiver (10) comprising a fluid supply (12) which opens into the mixing chamber (8). Cartridge loaders for fluid mixture dispensing systems are disclosed. One disclosed fluid mixture dispensing system comprises an interface surface, a cartridge receiver carriage, and an actuator configured to depress the cartridge receiver carriage towards the interface surface to load a cartridge. The fluid mixture dispensing system is configured to apply continuous downward pressure on the cartridge towards the interface surface when the cartridge is loaded and is in contact with the interface surface.
