An intelligent concentrate mixing and delivery device includes at least one ingredient storage device (e.g., an ingredient cartridge) configured to store one or more ingredients and at least one micro-ingredient pump configured to pump the one or more ingredients into a mixing chamber. The mixing chamber reconstructs at least one finished concentrate from the one or more ingredients. The intelligent concentrate mixing and delivery device further includes at least one pump configured to pump the finished concentrate into a beverage dispensing system.

A dispenser of nitrogen gas infused cold brew beverages includes a product container, a nitrogenator, a mixing unit, and a dispensing unit. The nitrogenator receives water from a water source and nitrogen gas from a nitrogen gas source and infuses the nitrogen gas into the water to produce nitrogen gas infused water. The mixing unit receives product from a product container and nitrogen gas infused water from the nitrogenator. The mixing unit combines the product and the nitrogen gas infused water to induce a mixing thereof that creates a nitrogen gas infused beverage. The dispensing unit receives nitrogen gas infused beverage from the mixing unit. The dispensing unit chills the nitrogen gas infused beverage to produce a nitrogen gas infused cold brew beverage for dispensing therefrom.

BEVERAGE DISPENSING UNIT

A dispensing manifold includes a first end configured to be coupled with a shank, and a second end opposite the first end. The second end is configured to be coupled with a faucet. The dispensing manifold further includes a center bore that extends through an interior of the dispensing manifold and connects the first end and the second end. One or more ingredient valves can be arranged on an outer circumference of the dispensing manifold, and each of the ingredient valves provide a selective fluid connection to the center bore.

The beverage unit further comprises a taste module for providing additives, wherein the taste module is configured to receive a first capsule, which contains the additives for a portion of a first beverage. Furthermore, the beverage unit comprises a control module configured to determine parameters for producing the first beverage, wherein the parameters indicate a first amount of the first liquid and a second amount of the second liquid. The control module is further configured to bring about that the first amount of the first liquid is provided by the first provisioning module, and to bring about that the second amount of the second liquid is provided by the second provisioning module. Furthermore, the control module is configured to bring about that the first amount of the first liquid and the second amount of the second liquid are mixed with the additives from the first capsule in order to produce the portion of the first beverage.

An apparatus for producing beverages. The apparatus comprises a dispensing system, a mixing unit, and a control unit comprising a user interface, which interact to prepare a particular beverage when requested by a user. When the control unit receives user input requesting the particular beverage via the user interface, it causes the dispensing system to dispense various ingredients (e.g., fragmented ice, water, flavoring ingredients, milk product) that are mixed by the mixing unit in order to prepare the particular beverage, which is served in a cup. In various embodiments, the apparatus may produce frozen beverages that include fragmented ice (e.g., shaved or crushed ice) as one of their ingredients, such as slush beverages and smoothie beverages, and/or hot beverages that include heated water as one of their ingredients, such as coffee and flavored coffee beverages (e.g., French Vanilla, Mocha, etc.).
