A snooker pocket rail system (10) that provides an atmospheric control system (24) for heating the atmosphere in a region adjacent the rails (14) where one or more balls (18) are supported in use. This maintains the temperature of the balls (18) when not in playso as to reduce adverse playing effects, such as kick, when the balls (18) are placed back onto the snooker table. The snooker pocket rail system (10) has a ball ring (12) from which the pocket rail (14) is suspended, in use, below a pocket by a net; an end stop (20); a plurality of rails (14) affixed at one end to the ball ring (12) and at their opposite ends to the end stop (20); and suspension means (26). The atmospheric control system (24) can be a heated air supply which directs (80, 84) heated air onto the balls (18) when suspended on the rails (14), or heated rails (14).

A device for setting up a game with a ball, the device being reversibly dismountable so that it can be assembled and/or played with anywhere on an existing plate surface. The device includes at least one ball clamping unit with a first side wall, a second side wall, and a ball admission opening which is arranged between the first side wall and the second side wall. The ball is clamped in the at least one ball clamping unit so that the ball remains on the existing plate surface when the ball enters the ball admission opening. The at least one ball clamping unit is detachably fastened to the existing plate surface in an assembled state.

A game table for playing a variant of beer pong uses a playing surface that has a series of openings at either end in the traditional triangular pattern. A ball is rolled from one end toward the other with the goal of sinking the ball into one of the openings. A user configurable playing surface and stadium venue includes interlocking floor parts that form a playing surface. Each of the interlocking floor parts has a series of openings. The striking point is higher than the center of the billiard ball. An angle between a line connecting the origin to the striking point and the abscissa axis is 2-8.

A billiards device includes a billiards table and billiards balls; wherein the billiards table includes a frame supported by supporting legs; a playing surface supported on the frame, which is rectangle and covered by a felt; two end rails and two side rails affixed to and around the playing surface; and four corner parts connecting the end rails and the side rails; wherein the billiards balls comprises white balls and black balls; the white balls are placed on the first part of the playing surface and the black balls are placed on the second part of the playing surface in equal forms; four corner holes are drilled at the four corner parts, four side holes are drilled at quarter points of the side rails, and two end holes are drilled at center points of the end rails. A using method of the billiards device is also provided.
