Pressurized beverage concentrates and appliances and methods for producing beverages therefrom
The present invention describes methods and devices in which concentrated beverage products, each packaged in a pressurized container, can be combined with liquids and/or other ingredients to produce one or more servings of a beverage. These products provide users with a convenient way to prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including carbonated beverages) in various serving sizes and quantities by combining the pressurized beverage concentrate with (possibly carbonated) liquids and other ingredients.
Beverage Dispensing Assembly Comprising an Ingredient Container Receiving Means and a Gas Pressure Regulator and Method of Dispensing a Beverage with Such Assembly
A beverage dispensing assembly for preparing and dispensing a beverage the assembly comprising: —source of pressurized base liquid having CO.sub.2, N.sub.2 or N.sub.2O dissolved therein and having a gas pressure of at least 0.5 bar overpressure at 2° C.; —a beverage unit with a liquid flow path having a liquid inlet at one end in fluid communication with the base liquid in the source of base liquid by means of a valve and a beverage outlet at an opposite end; an ingredient container receiving means having an ingredient container installed therein such that when correctly installed, the content of the ingredient container is in fluid communication with the liquid flow path for mixing the content of the ingredient container with a base liquid in the liquid flow path; —a gas pressure regulation unit having a pressure chamber provided in the liquid flow path downstream of the fluid communication between the liquid flow path and the content of the ingredient container; a gas ingredient inlet in fluid communication with the pressure chamber through a valve.

CHILLED N2 INFUSED BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD TO PREPARE AND DISPENSE A CHILLED N2 INFUSED BEVERAGE
A system and method to prepare and dispense a N.sub.2 or N.sub.2/CO.sub.2 gas infused chilled beverage is provided. The beverage may be any non-carbonated liquid and in one embodiment the beverage is coffee. The dispensed N.sub.2 or N.sub.2/CO.sub.2 gas infused chilled coffee has a unique appearance and enhanced flavor and aroma. The system may be provided as a self-contained unit.
Beverage extractor with controller
A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. Dispensing may be automatically controlled based on a detected orientation of the container, e.g., dispensing may occur when a bottle is tilted as if to pour from the bottle and stopped when the bottle is oriented upright. Dispensing may be stopped when the container is rotated about its longitudinal axis even while in a pour orientation. A remaining amount of beverage in the container and/or an amount of pressurized gas used to drive dispensing may be detected and beverage dispensing controlled accordingly.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPENSING A BEVERAGE CHILLED CONDITION
A mobile beverage dispenser comprises a wheelable platform having mounted thereon a chillable chamber connected to a refrigerated cooling coil for removing heat from a beverage in a bulk storage container placed therein for cooling; and a beverage dispensing tap connectable to the container in fluid communication with the beverage, and mounted in thermally conductive relationship with the chillable chamber, whereby the chamber when chilled removes heat from the dispenser in preparation for dispensing of the beverage, by virtue of the conductive relationship.
Beverage containment and dispensing system
Apparatus, and methods for constructing and implementing beverage containment and dispensing systems are provided herein. An example apparatus includes a thermally-insulated container, an adjustable pressure regulator positioned within the thermally-insulated container, a stopper component, and one or more tubes connected to the adjustable pressure regulator and to the stopper component. The example apparatus also includes an external housing within which the thermally-insulated container is contained, and a user-controllable faucet component affixed to the external housing and connected to the adjustable pressure regulator through the external housing and thermally-insulated container via at least one conduit.
