Apparatus for the removal of liquids from containers
An apparatus for the removal of liquids from deformable containers includes a first holding device for holding a first region of a container, and a second holding device for holding a second region of the container. The second region is arranged at a distance from the first region, with a removal device for removing liquid from the container and with a drive device which moves the second holding device in a pre-set direction of movement (L) with respect to the first holding device. The removal device is arranged on the second holding device in a removable manner and a support element is provided which supports at least one element of the removal device in the direction of movement (L) in a removal operation.
Self-Pressurized Concentrate Source for Post-Mix Equipment
A post-mix beverage dispenser utilizing a liquid concentrate in a self-pressurized container is provided. The beverage dispenser includes a connector and flow control valve to regulate the pressure of the liquid concentrate in the system. The liquid concentrate and diluent are mixed at the nozzle of the post-mix beverage dispense.
Dispensing appliance provided with a removable dispensing cartridge
A dispensing appliance allowing the loading of a container together with a dispensing tube is disclosed. After loading the container into the holding portion of the appliance, a dispensing cartridge is engaged into a receiving system provided in the dispensing portion of the appliance, which is movable with respect to the holding portion from a first loading position to a second dispensing position. The cartridge partially encases a dispensing tube with both inlet and outlet ends protruding out of first and second sides of the cartridge, such that the outlet portion of the dispensing tube is flexible. Upon engaging the cartridge into the receiving system, the outlet portion is engaged into a pinch valve while the inlet points towards the dispensing opening of the container. The dispensing tube inlet is introduced into the dispensing opening upon moving the dispensing portion of the appliance to its second dispensing position.
PLASTIC BEER KEG
A plastic beer keg includes an outer container and a liner having a neck portion and a body portion. A removable lid is secured over an opening of the container to enclose the liner. A locking ring secures the neck portion to the lid. The neck optionally includes a neck ring which interlocks with the opening through the lid to prevent relative rotation therebetween. The locking ring optionally includes ratcheting teeth engaging ratchet teeth on the lid to prevent inadvertent loosening of the locking ring. The liner may be suspended from the lid by the neck when empty.
Keg closure with venting mechanism
A closure (10) for use with a beverage keg (20) is disclosed. The closure (10) comprises an inlet, a barrier (1) and a housing (2) that defines a venting hole (11). The barrier (1) seals the venting hole (11). The closure (10) comprises an unvented configuration in which a keg to which the closure is fitted can be pressurized. The closure (10) also comprises a vented configuration in which the barrier (1) is unsealed from the venting hole (11) to permit depressurization of the keg (20).
Integral Keg Connector
A keg connector for coupling a dispensing line and gas line to a keg is disclosed having a closure with a sealed dispensing opening and gas opening. The connector has a mono-block body with a top plate structure having a perimeter, upper surface, lower surface, and clamping system. The clamping system has two clamping legs jutting from the lower surface of the top plate, and two levers jutting out of the upper surface of the top plate, each lever has a coupled end fixed to the opposite portions of the perimeter of the top plate as the hinge ends of the two legs. The connecter has a dispensing tube with an upstream portion jutting out of the lower surface of the top plate, and a gas tube with a downstream portion jutting out of the lower surface of the top plate parallel to the upstream portion of the dispensing tube.
Alcoholic Beverage Barrel Dispensing Apparatus
An apparatus for dispensing an alcoholic beverage from a barrel without the risk of spoilage from oxidation and a method for installing the apparatus in a barrel.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR TRANSPORTING AND DISPENSING CARBONATED KEGGED BEVERAGES
Selected features of a device for transporting and dispensing of chilled, carbonated beverages and its operation are described. A main body includes thermal insulation and is fitted with a multifunctional lid. The main body may be rotomolded. The lid provides a carbon dioxide canister coupled to a pressure regulator and a conduit from the regulator into the main body, with a quick-disconnect fitting to couple to a keg assembly inside the main body. The lid also provides a dispensing tower with a faucet and a beverage conduit with another quick-disconnect fitting for coupling to the keg assembly. The tower may be folded down to lie flat on the top of the lid, e.g., for ease of transportation. A drip tray grate and a drip tray reservoir may be set or fixed on the lid, to collect and dispose of beverage overflow.
