INDIVIDUAL FROZEN DRINK DISPENSER
An individual frozen drink dispenser includes a housing having a base configured to support a blender cup, a dispensing chamber disposed above the blender cup and configured to support a frozen beverage container containing frozen ingredients suitable for preparing a frozen drink, at least one dispensing mechanism configured to move from a pre-dispense position to a dispense position in which the dispensing mechanism drives the frozen ingredients from the frozen beverage container into the blender cup, and a drive mechanism coupled to the housing and configured to drive the movement of the dispensing mechanism from the pre-dispense position to the dispense position. A method of preparing a frozen drink is further disclosed.
USER-CONTROLLED VOLUME REGULATION MECHANISM FOR AUTOMATIC CONSUMABLE DISPENSERS
An automated consumable dispenser with a precision method for delivering consumable ingredients in specific proportions to a container up to a specified volume. This method involves the use of a system of sensors and a micro-microprocessor, which detects, digitizes and develops a three dimensional rendering of the container, calculates the container volume and dispenses specific amounts of consumable ingredients. A user is able to pick the level in the vessel to which the consumable ingredients should be dispensed and displays the selected desired level. The embodiments described include an automated dispenser capable of dispensing beverages and food items, either separately or together.
Refrigerator appliance with timed preheating for dispensed fluids
A refrigerator appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a door, a dispensing assembly, a heating element, and a controller. The controller may be configured to initiate a dispensing operation. The dispensing operation may include providing a first time, TIME-1, by which a fluid is to be ready at a first temperature, TEMP-1, within the cabinet; ascertaining a first time period, Δt1, required to heat the fluid to at least the first temperature, TEMP-1; initiating detection of a container within a dispenser recess prior to the first time, TIME-1; and directing a heating element prior to the first time, TIME-1, based on initiating detection of the container.
Re-fillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system
The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system stores a fluid that is consumed as a beverage. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system measures the stored fluid. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system refills the fluid when the volume of the stored fluid falls below a previously determined level. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system heats the stored fluid at a previously determined temperature.
MULTIPLE-PIECE VACUUM-INSULATED HEATING TANK OF WATER DISPENSER
A multiple-piece vacuum-insulated heating tank for use in a water dispenser includes a threaded cover, a thermal insulation cover, and a heating tank body. The threaded cover is mounted on an upper opening of the heating tank body and includes a plastic cover and a protective cover mounted on and around the plastic cover. The thermal insulation cover is fitted in the upper opening and includes an upper cover and a lower cover. The lower cover is cup-shaped; is mounted with a heating tube, a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, a thermowell, a temperature-sensing heat pipe, a heat collector block, and two snap-action thermostats at the bottom side; and has a sidewall formed with a step adjacent to the bottom side. The heating tank not only has a multiple-piece structure that facilitates mass production and maintenance, but also dispenses with electronic temperature control as is conventionally required.
Hot liquid supply apparatus and method for controlling same
A method for controlling a hot water supply apparatus, the method including: a first step of receiving a hot water exhalent signal; a second step of determining whether a cup is a first cup or a recurring cup; and a third step of, when the cup is the first cup, providing hot water to a user by using a first cup providing algorithm, and when the cup is the recurring cup, providing hot water to the user by using a recurring cup providing algorithm, wherein in the third step, the amount of water supplied to a heating module for heating water is adjusted in stages.
Beverage dispenser with component wash system
The present application provides a beverage dispensing system using a sweetener. The beverage dispensing system may include a sweetener source with the sweetener therein, one or more rotating or stationary components positioned about a flow of the sweetener, and a component wash system positioned about the one or more rotating or stationary components to wash off the sweetener thereon.
Beverage dispenser for dispensing low solubility ingredients
The present application provides a beverage dispensing system for dispensing beverages with low solubility ingredients. The beverage dispensing system may include a sweetener flow, a first diluent flow, a low solubility ingredient premixing system for mixing a low solubility ingredient with a second diluent flow to create a mixed flow, and a nozzle to mix the sweetener flow, the first diluent flow, and the mixed flow.
WATER PURIFIER
A water purifier that includes: a filter unit that is configured to purify water; a cooling unit that is configured to cool water purified by the filter unit using cooling water; a water discharge unit that is configured to discharge water cooled by the cooling unit; a cold water flow path that couples the cooling unit to the water discharge unit and through which water cooled by the cooling unit passes; a cold water discharge valve that is coupled to a first side of the cooling unit and that is configured to control water flow inside the cold water flow path; and a check fitting unit that is coupled to a first side of the water discharge unit and that is configured to block pressure change inside the cold water flow path is disclosed.
INDUCTION HEATING MODULE AND WATER PURIFIER HAVING THE SAME
A water purifier includes a working coil, a hot water tank that faces toward the working coil and is spaced apart from the working coil by a gap to heat a liquid passing through an inner space of the hot water tank by an induction of the working coil, a bracket that is coupled to the hot water tank, the working coil being located between the hot water tank and the bracket, and a spacer that is located between the working coil and the hot water tank to thereby define the gap between the working coil and the hot water tank.
