USER-CONTROLLED VOLUME REGULATION MECHANISM FOR AUTOMATIC CONSUMABLE DISPENSERS

An automated consumable dispenser with a precision method for delivering consumable ingredients in specific proportions to a container up to a specified volume. This method involves the use of a system of sensors and a micro-microprocessor, which detects, digitizes and develops a three dimensional rendering of the container, calculates the container volume and dispenses specific amounts of consumable ingredients. A user is able to pick the level in the vessel to which the consumable ingredients should be dispensed and displays the selected desired level. The embodiments described include an automated dispenser capable of dispensing beverages and food items, either separately or together.

Containment device for intermediate bulk containers, and related methods

Described is a containment device for holding a container that defines a container interior volume. The containment device can include a base portion enclosing a base portion interior volume, the base portion including: a plurality of base walls, a trough extending from at least one of the base walls, and a substantially horizontal support surface adapted to support the container above the base portion interior volume. The base portion interior volume can be equal to or greater than the container interior volume. An enclosure can extend above the base portion, the enclosure including a plurality of enclosure walls adapted to surround the container. The enclosure walls can define an opening above the trough, the opening adapted for insertion of the container into the enclosure.

Consumption safety and quality assurance for fluid mixture dispensing devices

Consumption safety and quality assurance features for fluid mixture dispensing systems, such as a beverage dispensing device, are disclosed. A disclosed beverage dispensing device includes a final dispense chamber and a dispenser for the final dispense chamber. The beverage dispensing device is configured to mix a beverage and store the beverage in the final dispense chamber prior to a final dispense of the beverage from the beverage dispensing device. The beverage dispensing device is further configured to determine at least one parameter of the beverage. The dispenser is locked if the at least one parameter does not satisfy an expected standard and unlocked if the at least one parameter does satisfy the expected standard. The expected standard can be a safety standard or a quality standard.

VERTICAL BEVERAGE DISPENSING MANIFOLDS, DISPENSERS INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHODS OF DISPENSING A BEVERAGE

Vertical beverage dispensers including a vertical dispensing manifold for dispensing a beverage. The vertical dispensing manifold may include an input port coupled to one end of a vertical shaft and a dispensing nozzle coupled to the other end of the vertical shaft. The vertical shaft may include a hollow interior and a plurality of orifices for introducing ingredients into the hollow interior formed in the sidewall of the vertical shaft. The vertical shaft may define a vertical flow path for the flow of a base liquid from the input port, through the vertical shaft to combine with one or more ingredients, and to the dispensing nozzle. The flow of base liquid and ingredients within the vertical shaft may be uniform.
