Dispensing appliance provided with means for positioning a container
A pressure dispensing container containing a liquid and closed by a closure having a first aperture offset with respect to the centroid of the closure's base is disclosed. The container is mounted on a dispensing appliance including a first tube to be inserted into the corresponding first, offset aperture of the closure. The closure further having a crenellation in its lower rim mating a crenellation in a structure for receiving the closure of the container. A closure holding structure is located in the holding portion of the appliance and is suitable for receiving in mating relationship the closure of the container such that the first offset aperture of the closure is in direct engaging relationship with the first tube of the appliance.
Apparatus for dispensing a beverage
Apparatus for dispensing a beverage in which a bottle containing the beverage is placed in a cradle and a portion of the beverage flows into a heat exchanger in which the beverage is heated or cooled to a desired temperature. The heat exchanger may be divided into at least two zones with the beverage being heated or cooled to the desired temperature in an inlet zone and the beverage being maintained at the desired temperature in an outlet zone.
System for dispensing liquid from inverted container
A liquid dispenser for dispensing a consumable liquid from a container. The dispenser includes a cabinet configured to receive one or more containers in an inverted position such that liquid is induced by gravity to flow out of an open interior of the container though a dispensing opening. A positive pressure valve assembly is mounted to the dispensing opening of the container prior to insertion of the container into the cabinet. The valve assembly includes a cap connected to the dispensing opening and a discharge tube extending from the cap. A flow restrictor of the valve assembly is positioned to selectively open and close the discharge tube to control the flow of liquid from the container. A one-way valve is positioned between the open interior of the container and a supply of air. The one-way valve allows air flow into the container as the fluid is discharged to maintain a positive pressure within the container.
Bottled water dispenser with a system for treating water in a bottle with UV radiation
A bottled water dispenser with a system for treating water in a bottle with UV radiation, containing a water intake finger equipped with a source of UV radiation and configured to open the bottle sealed by a cap by pushing a valve installed in the centre of the cap inside to the bottle or by rupturing this valve, wherein a semiconductor LED is used as the source of UV radiation, the semiconductor LED is installed in a recess made at the end face of the water intake finger, so that when the bottle is opened with the water intake finger, the source is inside the bottle, and the radiation of the source is directed towards the water surface and towards the walls of the bottle, and wherein the semiconductor LED is protected by a quartz glass covering the recess.
