TAP AND CONTAINER OR BEER KEG HAVING A TAP
A tap for the removal of liquid from a container, such as a 5L party beer keg, comprises a sleeve, a piston which can be drawn at least partially out of the sleeve, an outlet head which adjoins the piston and can be pivoted, typically in relation to the longitudinal axis of the piston, and has an outlet, and an actuator which is generally assigned to the outlet or arranged downstream of the same. The actuator serves to draw the piston out of the sleeve and thereby activate the tap, and to pivot the outlet head and thereby open a flow path extending at least partially through the sleeve and the piston to the outlet for tapping purposes. The actuator comprises a handle for drawing the piston out of the sleeve (for activation) and an actuating lever which is connected to the handle for pivoting the outlet head (for tapping).
BEVERAGE CONTAINER WHICH PROMOTES SHELF-LIFE
A closure system suitable for sealing a growler and dispensing beer under the influence of gravity and atmospheric pressure through a conventional tap faucet. A growler sealed with the closure system is held in an inverted position by a support system. The closure system is lower than the body of the growler and is connected to a conventional tap faucet. The closure system includes a cap with a manually operated valve. The valve rotates from a closed position to an open one, which opens two channels in the cap: one to conduct beer from the growler to the tap and the other to conduct ambient air into a collapsed bladderwhich is an integral part of the capwhen the tap is opened to dispense beer. The collapsible bladder expands into the growler when the beer is dispensed to take up the volume vacated by the beer. The closure system and the support can be included in a kit, alternatively each component can be packaged as a stand-alone item.
CONTAINER-VALVE SUBASSEMBLY FOR A BEVERAGE DISPENSER AND REFRIGERATION DEVICE HAVING THE CONTAINER-VALVE SUBASSEMBLY
A container-valve subassembly for use in a refrigeration appliance contains a container and a valve which is arranged on the base of the container. At least one closing body of the valve is releasably connected to the container. The closing body is tiltable between a closed position adjacent to a valve seat and an open position about a pivotal point.
Delivering tap equipped with a system for placing, locking and orienting the tap on bag-in-boxes
A dispensing tap (1) is described, including: a support and containment body (2) equipped with an elongated neck (I); a locking ring (3A, 3B) located externally around the elongated neck (I) of the body (2); and a cap (4) inserted inside the elongated neck (I) of the body (2). The body further includes a second central part (II), connected to the elongated neck (I), designed to operatively couple with the locking ring; and a third base zone (III), connected to the second central zone (II).
Valve shaft locking mechanism
A tapping armature for liquid containers, in particular for being connected to the outlet port or the outlet opening of a transport and storage container for liquids, the tapping armature comprising an armature housing in which a valve body pivotable by means of a valve shaft and serving to open and close a flow cross section of an outlet tube is disposed, a connection end of the valve shaft for being connected to the valve body being disposed in the outlet tube of the armature housing and an operating end of the valve shaft protruding from the armature housing through a housing dome formed on the armature housing. A form-fitting engagement is established between the housing dome and a valve shaft portion housed in the housing dome in order to axially secure the valve shaft in the armature housing.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
A beverage dispensing system for dispensing a fluid from a bottle includes a housing having a perimeter wall that is attached to and extends downwardly from a top wall to bound an interior space. A tubing is positioned within the interior space, forming a conduit between the top wall and the perimeter wall. The top wall has an opening that is configured to receive the bottle. The conduit is fluidly coupled to the opening. The fluid can travel into the tubing and through the conduit when the opening has received the bottle. A spout having an inlet portion and an outlet portion is coupled to the perimeter wall. The spout permits the fluid to flow from the conduit into the inlet portion and outwardly through the outlet portion. A valve coupled to the spout controls the flow through the outlet portion. A decorative indicium may be positioned on the housing.
Two piece, T-shaped dispensing tap and method of making same
A two piece, molded tap is contemplated. The tap is includes a T-shaped body with a rotatable cap serving as a valve element. Camming means are provided on opposing but concealed faces of the cap to enable the smooth and easy rotation of the cap between open and closed positions while rotating the cap less than one full revolution in comparison to the body which remains fixed to a flexible pouch or container.
Water container with manual dispensing valve
Disclosed is a water dispenser including a container with an outlet channel at the bottom thereof and a manually operated valve arrangement with a valve member resiliently pre-stressed towards a closing state.
