VEHICLE FLUID FILL SYSTEM

A system includes a fill station, a vehicle, and a controller. The fill station has a first conduit. The vehicle has a subsystem that includes a second conduit configured to couple with the first conduit to establish a fluid connection between the subsystem and the fill station. The controller is programmed to, in response to a predetermined condition of the subsystem while the first and second conduits are coupled, automatically pump fluid from the fill station into the subsystem via the fluid connection.

Methods and Systems for on Demand Fuel Supply

A float probe configured to regulate fluid flow into a fluid container is disclosed. The float probe comprises an upper assembly having one or more outlets, a plurality of rods extending from the upper assembly to a lower assembly and a float assembly disposed between the upper assembly and the lower assembly. A first distal end of the rods is coupled to the upper assembly and a second distal end of the rods is coupled to the lower assembly. The rods extend along an outer surface of the float assembly and the float assembly is movable along the rods between a first position proximate to the upper assembly and a second position proximate to the lower assembly. The float assembly prevents fluid flow out of the outlets when disposed in the first position.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE REFUELING

Methods and systems are provided for improving customer satisfaction during a vehicle fuel tank refueling event. A customer refilling fuel in a fuel tank is provided a real-time update regarding the status of a fuel system, including a time remaining until the fuel tank is depressurized and ready to receive fuel. The update is provided visually by projecting the countdown on a ground surface via a puddle light, and acoustically via an external microphone or speaker of the vehicle.

MOBILE AUTONOMOUS HYDROGEN REFUELING STATION

A system and a method for mobilized autonomous hydrogen refueling of vertical lift aircraft using a framed landing pad with sensors, an onboard hydrogen storage tank, an onboard refueling arm configured to couple the hydrogen storage tank to the aircraft and an onboard controller configured to control a flow of fuel from the hydrogen storage tank to the aircraft.

Systems and methods for automatically refueling vehicles of customers of a retailer

In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided for automatically refueling vehicles of authenticated customers of a retailer. After the vehicle driven by an operator is scanned at a refueling station of the retailer and identified as a vehicle associated with an authorized customer of the retailer, the operator and/or the operator's personal electronic device are scanned in order to verify that the operator of the authenticated vehicle is a customer of the retailer authorized to fill up his/her car at the refueling station of the retailer. When both the vehicle and the operator of the vehicle are authenticated and verified, a vehicle refueling device dispenses gasoline to fill up the gas tank of the vehicle.

Systems and Methods for Autonomous Fueling of a Vehicle

An autonomous fueling system to dispense fuel to a vehicle. The system may include a fuel dispenser configured to autonomously deliver fuel to a vehicle. A server may monitor the fueling event. The system may also include a user device configured to communicate with the fuel dispenser and/or the server to order the fuel. The dispenser may be configured to autonomously insert a nozzle into the fuel system of the vehicle and deliver the fuel.

APPARATUS FOR FILLING VEHICLES ON ASSEMBLY LINES IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY
20200115217 · 2020-04-16 · ·

A device for filling vehicles on assembly lines with a plurality of different operating media, which are fed from filling stations via connecting lines and special adapters into the circuits and tanks of the vehicles.

The device structurally integrates the terminals of all tanks and circuits of a vehicle which are to be filled with an operating medium in a common assembly, configured as a filling unit installed in the vehicle. The filling unit can be brought into operative connection with a filling tool for all of the terminals of all filling stations of different operating media. The terminals for the same operating medium at the filling unit of the vehicle and the filling tool to be brought into operative connection are configured with congruent contours.

Method and apparatus for multi-line fuel delivery

A gravity-fed fuel delivery system is provided. A central storage tank holds fuel to re-supply a number of pump trucks or other mechanized equipment, such as on a hydraulic fracturing location, and can be selectively raised or lowered. Hoses or other conduits extend from the central storage tank to individual fuel tanks of the equipment to be refueled. Adapters allow connection of the distal end of each hose or conduit to an inlet opening of a fuel tank. A float valve assembly senses when fuel inside an individual fuel tank is below a predetermined level, thereby mechanically opening a valve assembly to permit fluid to flow from the central storage tank, through a conduit, through the float valve assembly and into the fuel tank.

AUTOMATED ENGINE OIL CHANGE SYSTEM AND METHOD

The present invention encompasses a system and method for automatically replacing vehicle fluid, such as engine oil, with a robotic serving unit or robotic machine. The robotic machine comprises a motorized, autonomously maneuverable unit that has on its top a drainage arm to connect with an oil drain plug of a vehicle. In a preferred embodiment, the oil drain plug comprises a hollow interior for the drainage arm to connect with and drain the oil, and can also comprise a sealable element to retain the oil.

REMOTE FILLING SYSTEM

A system comprising a plurality of ports is capable of automated, remote detection of conditions indicating that refill is required in one of a plurality of remote tanks and causing refill of the tank via at least one of the plurality of ports. Further, the system includes automated monitoring and supply of a fuel tank.
