METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REFUELING AN AIRCRAFT
20230356995 · 2023-11-09 ·

A method of refueling an aircraft for a trip that includes multiple flight segments separated by stops at airports with refueling options. The method includes predicting a total cost of fuel for the trip for different refueling scenarios in which different numbers of units of fuel are added to the aircraft at respective ones of the airports in the trip. Once predictions of the total cost for each of the refueling scenarios is performed, the refueling scenario with the lowest total cost is selected and a refueling report that indicates the different numbers of units of fuel to add to the aircraft at the respective ones of the airports for the refueling scenario with the lowest total cost is output. An associated apparatus and computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable program code stored therein are also disclosed.

MOBILE FUEL DISTRIBUTION STATION

A fuel distribution station includes a first fuel tank for releasably holding a first fuel, and a second fuel tank for releasably holding a second fuel. A connection member extends between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank, and provides a rigid connection between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank. A support structure supports the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank in an elevated position a predetermined distance above ground, sufficient to allow for passage of land vehicles beneath the support structure during a fueling operation. A control system is utilized for selectively permitting and monitoring a discharge of fuel from the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank to the land vehicles during the fueling operation.

IT ORGANIZATION FOR CUSTOM HAIR DYE DISPENSING SYSTEM

A system is provided for dispensing a hair dye formulation into container, comprising: a conveyer belt configured to transport the customer container along a fill line; a plurality of dispensing mechanisms, each connected to a respective bulk containers having a different bulk hair dye color, the plurality of dispensing mechanisms being disposed over a conveyer belt along the fill line; and circuitry configured to receive a plurality of formulas for filling a respective plurality of receiving containers with one or more bulk hair dye colors from among the plurality of bulk containers having the different bulk hair dye color, and control each of the plurality of dispensing mechanisms to perform a dispensing operation to dispense an amount of bulk hair dye color or to not perform a dispensing operation at a time when each of the receiving containers are transported to each of the plurality of dispensing mechanisms along the fill line, wherein the circuitry is configured to adjust a sequence of the receiving containers to be filled in the fill line based on the formulas and a sequence which results in a minimum time to complete filling the receiving containers in the fill line.

Anti-fracture expansion device

Methods are devices are provided for preventing fracture of a fluid-filled chamber or tank. In general an anti-fracture expansion device can be disposed internally within a fluid-filled chamber such that during a freeze event displaced fluid can compress or flow into the anti-fracture expansion device, thereby reducing the likelihood that the chamber will rupture. The internal disposition of the expansion device prevents it from interfering with other components that may be connected to or adjacent to the fluid chamber, thereby conserving space. In certain embodiments, the expansion device can have a dual function wherein it can act as a flow control valve in addition to functioning as an anti-fracture expansion device.
