Fuel container system
The disclosure relates to a portable fuel container system which can facilitate extracting substantially all of the contents contained therein, without having to physically manipulate the container to do so, thereby minimizing spillage and waste. Embodiments of the fuel container system can include a fuel container enclosing a fluid cavity and a fluid dispenser. A collection channel may be recessed in the base section of the container and configured to gravitationally draw fluid to an end of the channel having an aperture, which forms a low point of the fluid cavity. A fluid dispenser can be coupled to the aperture and be in fluid communication with the cavity. The dispenser can include a valve and flexible conduit, allowing the user to position the dispenser to a desired location before activating the flow of fluid.
POINT-OF-SALE OCTANE/CETANE-ON-DEMAND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMOTIVE ENGINES
A point-of-sale fuel dispensing system, a pump assembly and a method of dispensing fuel at a point-of-sale. The system includes a market fuel storage tank, pump assembly, fuel conduit, separation unit, numerous enriched fuel product tanks and a controller. The separation unit may selectively receive at least a portion of market fuel and convert it into an octane-rich fuel component and a cetane-rich fuel component that may be subsequently dispensed to a vehicle being fueled, where a fuel grade selection and retail payment of a fuel containing the octane-rich or cetane-rich fuel components is provided to the vehicle based on user input at the customer interface.
Hose puller and method
A device for pulling a hose and nozzle assembly comprises a laterally-extending grip manually engageable by one or both hands to grip the device and pull a hose and nozzle assembly attached thereto. A lock is spaced below the grip and is releasably engageable with the hose and nozzle assembly. The lock or hose and nozzle assembly is movable relative to the other between (i) a locked position, wherein the hose and nozzle assembly is secured by the lock to the device and the hose and nozzle assembly is supported therefrom, and (ii) an unlocked position, wherein the hose and nozzle assembly is released from the lock and detached from the device. In the locked position, the laterally-extending grip is manually engageable to pull the device, including in a position behind the back, and thereby pull the hose and nozzle assembly secured thereto.

SPILL PREVENTION PLUG
A spill prevention plug is provided. A plug body has an interior side and an exterior side with a threaded aperture that extends from the interior side to the exterior side of the plug body. The interior side of the plug body is removably attachable to a hose. A bushing threadingly engages the threaded aperture. A one way valve with a first end and a second end is provided with the first end of the one way valve engaging the bushing from the exterior side of the plug body. The one way valve being movable between an open position in which fluid flows through the one way valve from the interior side of the plug body to the exterior side of the plug body and a closed position in which fluid is prevented from flowing through the one way valve. An adapter for connection to a pump engages the second end of the one way valve.
Portable Fuel Storage Device
A portable storage device to contain fuel. The device is designed to be relatively light-weight to allow for movement around a fueling facility, and to be delivered to the fueling facility through the air. The device includes a number of separate tanks each configured to contain fuel. A suspension protects the tanks by absorbing external forces that could occur in the event the device is dropped during air delivery.

SAFETY JOINT
To provide a safety joint capable of preventing moment generated by swinging of a filling hose from acting on the safety joint and surely separating the safety joint to a hydrogen filling apparatus side member and a vehicle side member when a tensile force more or equal to a predetermined value is applied to the filling hose. The safety joint 100 according to the present invention includes a plug (10) with a cylindrical shape in which a passage (1A) is formed, a socket (20) in which a passage (21A) continuing to the passage (1A) in the plug (10) is formed, and a shut off valve mounted on the passage (21A) in the socket (20), the shut off valve opening when the plug (10) being inserted into the socket (20) and closing when the plug (10) being disconnected therefrom, wherein central axes of the passages of the plug and the socket form a straight line, a filling hose (61) is connected to the plug (10), and a hose guide (70) for limiting movement of the filling hose (61) at a position separated from the plug (10).
FILLING HOSE
A liquid dispenser filling hose for use in filling a liquid dispenser with liquid from a liquid reservoir via a pump, comprising: a distal coupler for coupling the filling hose to the liquid dispenser; and a controller arranged to control the pump. The liquid dispenser may be filled using a method comprising: providing a liquid reservoir, a pump and a controller arranged to control the pump, and a filling hose having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the filling hose being coupled to the liquid reservoir; coupling the distal end of the filling hose via a distal coupler to the liquid dispenser; and transferring liquid from the liquid reservoir via the filling hose to an airless liquid container forming part of the liquid dispenser.
A system for filling a liquid dispenser, comprising: the liquid filling hose; and a liquid reservoir and/or liquid supply station is also described.
INTERFACING A VEHICLE WITH A FOG DEVICE DURING FUELING
In one embodiment, a fog computing-based fueling kiosk forms a fueling connection with a vehicle and a direct network connection between the kiosk and a gateway for a network of the vehicle. The fueling kiosk provides energy to the vehicle via the fueling connection and receives, via the network connection with the gateway for the network of the vehicle, operational data from the network of the vehicle, while providing the energy to the vehicle via the fueling connection. The fueling kiosk performs an analysis of the received operational data from the vehicle and provides a result of the performed analysis to a remote device.
