BEVERAGE CHILLER AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Exemplary embodiments are generally directed to beverage chillers for chilling a hot beverage so that the hot beverage can be served as a chilled beverage in real time on demand fashion. The beverage chillers include a beverage collection section, a heat exchanger section, and a dispensing section fluidically connected relative to each other. The beverage collection section receives a beverage in a hot state. The heat exchanger section chills the beverage from the hot state to a predetermined chilled temperature. The dispensing section dispenses the beverage at or near the predetermined chilled temperature. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to methods and systems for chilling a hot beverage in real time on demand fashion.

Apparatus for dispensing a fluid from a container and regulating a temperature thereof

An apparatus regulates a temperature of a fluid inside a container and dispenses the fluid from the container. The apparatus has a body with an axis, a cavity adjacent a distal end, a bore adjacent a proximal end, and a fluid inlet formed through the body to the bore. The body contacts the fluid inside the container. A second fluid may be located and sealed inside the cavity, and have a freezing point of about 10° C. or less. A nozzle may be mounted to the body. The nozzle has a channel in communication with the fluid inlet through which the fluid flows out of the container through the nozzle. A seal may be mounted to the body. The seal may have a radial seal to seal radially between the body and an interior of the container, and an axial seal to seal axially between the nozzle and the container.

Heat exchange device with ring shaped thin slit section for use in liquid adhesive systems and related methods

A heat exchange device for heating liquid adhesive material to an application temperature suitable for an adhesive bonding application includes a body having an inlet configured to receive a flow of liquid adhesive material and an outlet configured to provide the liquid adhesive material to a dispensing device for the adhesive bonding application. A fluid passageway in the body connects the inlet and the outlet. The fluid passageway includes a thin slit section in the form of an elongated ring shape, having a length along a fluid flow direction between the inlet and the outlet, the thin slit section further having a first dimension and a second dimension transverse to the fluid flow direction. The first dimension and the length are substantially greater than the second dimension. The heat exchange device further includes a heating element for heating the liquid adhesive material flowing through the thin slit section.
