A connection member extends between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank, and provides a rigid connection between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank. A support structure supports the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank in an elevated position a predetermined distance above ground, sufficient to allow for passage of land vehicles beneath the support structure during a fueling operation. A control system is utilized for selectively permitting and monitoring a discharge of fuel from the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank to the land vehicles during the fueling operation.

The machine includes a pair of service hoses that extend from the machine and connect to the vehicle for placing the machine in the fluid flow. New, used, and axillary fluid tanks are provided. A pump and a manifold are associated with two of the tanks. The pumps provide for the selective withdraw or insertion of fluid into or out of the tanks. A display on the housing presents an operator of the machine with various tasks or options the machine can perform. A processor controls activation of the pumps and other electrical components based on inputs received by the display. Scales are provided under one or more of the tanks for determining the amount of fluid going into and out of the tanks during the exchange process.

The invention broadly comprises a portable device (fuel caddy) for transferring fluids, particular for transferring gasoline from a storage container to gasoline using vehicles, boats or equipment. The device includes an external housing with an inlet and a discharge through a nozzle with a pump located on the external housing, with the pump operated by a hand crank located on the nozzle. The external housing includes all-terrain wheels, a tow loop for use on ATVs' and trucks, and an extended hose to the nozzle.

Various exemplary devices and methods for heating fuel hoses and nozzles are provided. In general, the devices and methods for heating fuel hoses and nozzles can be configured to heat fluid dispensable by a user into a fuel tank or other type of container. In some embodiments, a fuel dispensing device can include a first passageway configured to pass fluid therethrough and can include a second passageway configured to pass heated air therethrough. The heated air passing through the second passageway can be configured to heat the fluid passing through the first passageway. In some embodiments, a fuel dispensing device can include a single hose configured to pass fluid and heated air through separate passageways therein, and the device can include a manifold configured to facilitate passage of the fluid and the heated air from separate sources into the single hose.
