METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING MILK PRODUCTS HAVING DIFFERENT FAT CONTENTS
20210000130 · 2021-01-07 ·

A method for producing a first milk product having a first fat content and a second milk product having a second fat content. The method includes separating raw milk into cream and skim milk, diverting a first part of the cream into a first cream pipe, and a second part of the cream into a second cream pipe, dividing the skim milk in the main skim milk pipe, such that a first part of the skim milk flows into a first skim milk pipe and a second part of the skim milk flows into a second skim milk pipe. Flow rates for the two cream parts and the skim milk parts are determined, and valves are adjusted based on the determined flow rates, such that the milk products are obtained when mixing the cream and skim milk parts.

A method for processing milk, including separating raw milk into cream and skim milk, determining protein contents in the skim milk and the cream, dividing the skim milk into a first skim milk portion and a second skim milk portion, filtering the second skim milk portion into a permeate and a protein rich retentate, determining protein content in the permeate, calculating which flow rates are required for the first skim milk portion, the cream remix portion and the permeate to obtain a predetermined protein content of a mixture of the first skim milk portion, the cream remix portion and the permeate, which together form a standardized milk product.

SEPARATOR AND A METHOD FOR SEPARATING MILK
20200305382 · 2020-10-01 ·

A separator for separating raw milk into a skimmed milk phase, a cream phase and an ejection phase that comprises solid impurities is disclosed. The separator includes an ejection port arranged at a periphery of the separator to eject the ejection phase. A cyclone is connected to the ejection port to receive and decelerate the ejection phase, and a vessel in fluid communication with an ejection phase outlet of the cyclone to receive and collect the ejection phase from the cyclone. The cyclone includes a port that is open to the atmosphere, such that pressure build-up created in the cyclone when the ejection phase is ejected from the separator into the cyclone is released.

Method for discharge control of a separator

A method for discharge control of a separator including an inlet for a dairy product, a first outlet conduit for a first processed dairy product, and a second outlet conduit for a second dairy product. The first processed dairy product having a higher fat concentration than the second processed dairy product. The method involves detecting a flow rate of the first processed dairy product in the first outlet conduit, controlling the flow rate of the first processed dairy product in the first outlet conduit by regulating an opening degree of a regulating valve connected to the first outlet conduit, detecting the opening degree of the regulating valve, and discharging the separator when the opening degree of the regulating valve exceeds a predetermined value. The invention also relates to a separator for separating a dairy product into a first processed dairy product and a second processed dairy product.
