Augmented reality gaming systems and methods
An augmented reality (AR) game system is disclosed wherein real-world objects are transformed into AR terrain elements and AR events generate real-world impact. The game environment is set up using real-world objects that include everyday objects and game pieces on a field of play. When viewed on the screen of a computing device executing the modules of the game system, the everyday objects are transformed into elements of an AR terrain while the game pieces can be augmented with various controls. Multiple viewing modes, for example, a third person view, a first person view or POV view from a selected game piece or a split screen view are contemplated for viewing the field of play. A subset of the augmented controls can be activated by the user to execute AR events some of which can have real-world impact. The AR events are executed based on game rules.
ELECTION BOARD GAME AND METHOD OF USE
While there are numerous board games available in United States and worldwide, the current invention is intended to provide a fun and educational board game centered on the electoral voting process of the United States, but also with other educational and historical content contained therein, including a geographic, colorized map of the United States, a depicture image of the events of Jan. 6, 2020 at Capitol Hill, a showing of all 50 states providing the path of play of the game with each states geometric shape, images representing both the Democratic and Republican parties, the seal of the president of the United States, and figurines and/or game pieces representing elements or activities germane to the United states such as the White House, a voting ballot box, a courtroom chair, a gold bar, a top hat such as worn by Abraham Lincoln, a microphone such as used by any president since the invention of the microphone, and the key such as the key to any US city or the key to freedom.
Method of Playing a Board Game Comprising Game Components that Change Position
A board game is described that includes travel tiles, trays, home tiles, and start tiles that form a plurality of player modules that form a playing surface. The board game includes different types of pawns, which are used by players to move around a playing surface. The game includes an action selection apparatus, which generates actions that move the pawns, travel tiles, home tiles, and start tiles in order to provide an ever-changing playing surface and to create a competitive game. The first player to complete the objective of the game wins the game.
TALENT PORTFOLIO SIMULATION
A talent management portfolio game including a board representing an organization, whereby game pieces representing members of the organization having a potential value to the organization can be managed so as to maximize the value of the organization according to its members. Value pieces representing realized potential can be attached to the game pieces based on played talent action cards, thereby realizing some of the potential of the game piece. Game pieces can be promoted within the organization or exchanged in attempts to maximize the value of the organization.

A chess game named Water Crystal for two opposed players to train intelligence and tactics, the chess game includes: A checkerboard-style board partitioned by 12 horizontal lines and eleven vertical lines, divided in two symmetrical parts by a river, each part having a palace at the back rank center and patterns to help arrange pieces at the opening, a space, and a wooden bar at the end to help remember postponements; andTwo set of game pieces, each set having a color and including pieces named after the twelve zodiac animals and a Water Crystal piece, each having starting position, moving, and capturing rules, and where the starting positions of the two sets are symmetrical on the board.
BOARD GAME WITH STACKABLE TOKENS
Multi-player board games are described that include a playing board that comprises a collection of playing spaces and home spaces, groups of stackable tokens, and playing dice, Also described are methods of playing the games in which players roll the dice to determine how many spaces they may move their respective token(s). Players strategically stack or split their tokens and try to return to their home space in order to collect tokens from other players. The winner is determined by which player has the greatest number of tokens.

A random outcome generator for games is provided herein. The random outcome generator for games comprises a base having a bottom wall defining a finger therein including a stopper extending from a top surface thereof, the finger being pivotally movable and horizontally biased, a top engaged with the base, and a dial secured between the top and the base and freely rotatable therebetween, the dial including one or more recesses in a bottom surface thereof, the finger of the base engaging a recess of the dial when horizontal and disengaging the recess of the dial by pivoting when the dial rotates.
FLAG PIN, FLAG PIN KIT, AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A flag pin is provided comprising a straight pin with a sharpened end, a flag positioned at the opposite end of the pin, a vertical, cylindrical sleeve positioned around the pin, and a flexible base configured to receive the sharpened tip of the pin therethrough and to abut the bottom of the cylindrical sleeve. In use, a user inserts the flag pin into the cylindrical sleeve so that the sharpened tip of the pin extends out of the bottom of the sleeve, and moves the bottom of the pin into and through the flexible base so that the top of the flexible base comes to rest against the bottom of the cylindrical sleeve. In this configuration, the bottom end of the pin may then extend into a base on which the pin is to be placed, with the flexible base vertically supporting both the cylindrical sleeve and the pin itself, and holding the pin in a generally vertical orientation. A kit for assembling such flag pins and a method of its use are also provided.
Chess-Like Board Game
A chess-like board game with a commercial name of Starship Chess provides a one-on-one tactical space combat game, like the game of chess between two versatile playing pieces. The game is played by two players and each player has a fully maneuverable starship, complete with manageable resources, engines, weapons, and shields. Each player must navigate his starship in order to gain an advantage over the player's opponent with respect to direction and position. A starship can engage, withdraw, replenish, and reposition to plan out attacks. Players must learn to think ahead, predict opposing player's tactics, and outwit the opponent to win.
STRATEGIC GAME HAVING COLLECTABLE AND TRADABLE ELEMENTS
A game and method of play are provided herein. In an embodiment, a playing field is provided as a board marked with spaces. A plurality of visually different groups of pieces are provided, one group each corresponding to one player, and are placed in a prescribed pattern so that each player begins the game with an equal opportunity to win. A pool of prompts selectably instructing progression of game play is also provided. Each player may construct his own set of prompts from the pool. Then, executing turns in sequence, each player may invoke prompts from his own set against opposing players, causing pieces to be removed from the playing field until only one, indicating the winner, remains. The prompts may be printed on stylized playing cards which may be collectable and/or tradable, so that players may continue to customize sets of prompts available to invoke over time.
