A chess-like game played by at least two or as many players as possible on a non-polyhedron or a polyhedron rotating surface wherein a number of chess boards are connected to each other, back-to-back and wrapped around the said rotating surface so that the rows of at least two chess boards are parallel.

SPORTS-BASED CARD GAME SYSTEMS AND METHODS

The systems and methods discussed herein further provide for electronic simulation of sports-based card and board games with greater realism than conventional simulations of card and board games, with an intuitive user interface less complicated than user interfaces provided with electronic simulations of sports games. The simulation may be local to a computing device, or may utilize multiple computing devices in communication. Resources associated with a user of one computing device may be not associated with the user of another computing device, representing ownership of game tokens or entities. Resources associated with the user and resources not associated with the user may be stored separately in local databases, reducing bandwidth required for transfer of unassociated resources during multi-user simulations.

BOARD GAME SYSTEM, ETC.
20190232154 · 2019-08-01 · ·

The present invention provides a board game system in which an electrostatic-capacitance-based touchscreen that is capable of detecting a plurality of touched positions by detecting changes in electrostatic capacitance is used as a board. The board game system includes an electronic device equipped with the touchscreen; and game pieces that are used while being placed on the touchscreen and that are constituted at least partially of a conductive section. The conductive section is laid out so as to be intervened by a non-conductive section or gaps on the contact face. In the case where the game piece is placed on the touchscreen, the conductive section causes the predetermined or greater amount of change in the electrostatic capacitance at the contact positions of the conductive section on the contact face in the case where the conductive section is touched by the user. The electronic device recognizes the game piece.

System and Methods for Generating a Game Board and Playing Games Therewith
20190201781 · 2019-07-04 ·

The present disclosure relates to a system and methods for a board game in which boards, each containing multiple letters are combined in numerous combinations and configurations in order to generate and play different board games on different game boards. The object of the board game is for a player or team to place that team's colored translucent chips or tokens on letters and adjacent letters to create words, thereby creating a line or path of chips. By using this line of chips and adding to the line at each turn, the player or team can meet certain objectives, such as connecting various locations or ends on the game board, or racing from one end of the game board to the other, and other objectives as necessary to play each game.

Game system and method utilizing quantum phenomena as integral part of game play
10307662 · 2019-06-04 ·

A game system and method utilizing quantum phenomena, such as entanglement, superposition and interference, to modify game play of a conventional game. The game of chess is one such game. As detailed herein, the manner in which quantum phenomena are integrated into the chess game allows players to strategize based on at least entanglement, superposition, measurement and interference. That is, the integration of quantum phenomena is not simply overlaid on the chess game but rather integral to how the chess game is played. The embodiments of the present invention are also predicated on game measurements being non-deterministic.

BOARD GAME
20240181335 · 2024-06-06 ·

Online, electronic, or physical board game having playing spaces and playing elements marked with a letter of the alphabet and a point value. After drawing an initial number of playing elements from a pool, each player may either exchange their playing elements or play the playing elements on the playing area during their turn to form a word or words using playing elements already played on the board by the player or other players by placing playing elements onto successive adjacent playing spaces to add points equal to the playing elements forming the word or words to the player's score, and to subtract points equal to the point values of the playing elements of another player the player used to form the word or words, unless the other player's playing element was a part of the word that was played on a playing space indicated as safe.

Systems and methods for modifying a game interface of an online game

In accordance with some embodiments, a system for facilitating a card game provide for outputting a game interface which includes a plurality of card positions into which cards are placed, the card positions being configured in a triangle configuration, wherein the plurality of card positions include at least one subset of card positions within the triangle configuration, each of the at least one subset arranged in a respective sub-triangle located within the triangle configuration into which the plurality of card positions are arranged. A plurality of cards are dealt for a game event and placed into the card positions. If the plurality of dealt cards includes a first winning combination of cards, a prize is awarded to the player. In some embodiments, a prize is also awarded for any sub-combination of cards in a subset of card positions that qualifies as a winning card combination.

Systems and Methods for Rendering a Virtual Content Object in an Augmented Reality Environment
20190126149 · 2019-05-02 ·

Systems and methods for rendering of a virtual content object in an augmented reality environment based on a physical marker are discussed herein. Virtual content objects may be rendered by a display device in an augmented reality environment based on the field of view seen through the display device and a position of a marker (and one or more linkage points associated with the marker) in the real world. When rendered in the augmented reality environment, the virtual content objects may be visualized from any angle, from the exterior or interior of the object, and manipulated in response to user input. Virtual content objects and/or user visualizations of virtual content objects may be shared with other users (local and/or remote), enabling multiple users to potentially build, modify, and/or interact with a virtual content object simultaneously and/or cooperatively.

Life and death judgement system for Go game
10265617 · 2019-04-23 · ·

A life and death judgment system for a go game played with a computer comprising an input reception unit that receives an input by a player, a life and death judgment processing unit that judges whether judgment subject stones or target stones are alive, and an output processing unit that outputs the result of the life and death judgment is provided. The life and death judgment processing unit tentatively determines the priority of a move at each point when implementing the judgment in a judgment realm, judges a point of a move with a high possibility and/or a move with a low possibility of a result of the judgment, changes the priority of the point of the move with a high possibility with respect to each priority of the tentatively determined point, and undertakes the move of each stone based on the priority after such change, thereby implement the judgment.
