Spelling game comprising removable tokens positioned on a track
The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to an educational and entertaining game that includes a playing board and a plurality of game tokens. The game board includes a track configured as an internal channel for receiving a plurality of tokens. The board is configured such that the track includes a first height that gradually lowers to a second height. The difference in height allows the tokens to travel along the track in a single row. Each token includes an indicator that can be one or more letters, numbers, words, or symbols. The tokens can be removed from the track to spell words with the remaining tokens configured on the track. As a token is removed, the remaining tokens will travel towards the lower end of the board due to the sloped configuration of the track. In this way, the ordering of the tokens is preserved.
Game system with rotatably positionable playing pieces
A game system, includes a game board, including a plurality of squares arranged in rows and columns, including special squares, including a start square and bonus squares, each including a text indicator and a color indicator; a board border with row indicators and column indicators; rotatably positionable playing pieces, each including a line segment with segment terminators and a piece scoring indicator denoting a piece scoring value; two piece holders; two mockup boards; two privacy blinds; such that a plurality of pairs of successive strings are positionable on the board, each pair placed by two opposing players, each string including a plurality of rotatably positioned connected playing pieces, such that at least one segment terminator of a first connected playing piece is connected to at least one segment terminator of a second connected playing piece, such that line segments of the rotatably positioned connected pieces form a connected path.
BOARD GAME
A method of playing a board game includes a game board arranged as a grid. The board is set up before play where certain playing squares include respective first or second uniform indicia such that respective numbered tiles with matching uniform indicia may be randomly placed on the certain playing squares. Players may then perform a series turns placing tiles having a third indicia on the board in a single straight line using at least one of the numbered tiles already placed on the board. The tiles must create one or more linear sequences wherein the sum of the numbered tiles within each linear sequence equals a predetermined value. Points are awarded to the player based at least in part on the number of linear sequences created during the turn. The winner may be the player with the highest total awarded points at the end of the game.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WORD CONSTRUCTION BOARD GAME
A system and method for a word construction game that allows players to place words in any direction: forward, backward, up, down, and can zig zag around corners where corner words may have a double value. Each word going around a corner may be a complete word of its own or a single word. The word construction game has one hundred fourteen tiles with eight that are doubled sided whereby the players will be allotted seven tiles. The word construction game is played on a uniquely shaped board in the shape of a house.
Cylindrical Board Game Components and Game Methods of Play
A challenging set of two-player (or multi-player) games of skill with increased levels of difficulty that greatly enhance the players' abilities to visualize in 3-D. The games can also be developed to be played electronically and on-line. The basic objective of the game components of the present invention is to adapt 2-D board game surfaces into 3-D cylindrical configurations. By bending a 2-D board game into 3-D and connecting it back onto itself, additional skills associated with 3-D visualization are required of the players. A variety of traditional 2-D board games are translated into 3-D cylindrical board game structures and methods. In its basic form, the game method of play involves two players alternately placing game pieces into apertures on the cylindrical game board. Although most of the games associated with the objective of the present invention are two-player games, a variety of multi-player games are also possible.
Systems and methods for rendering a virtual content object in an augmented reality environment
Systems and methods for rendering of a virtual content object in an augmented reality environment based on a physical marker are discussed herein. Virtual content objects may be rendered by a display device in an augmented reality environment based on the field of view seen through the display device and a position of a marker (and one or more linkage points associated with the marker) in the real world. When rendered in the augmented reality environment, the virtual content objects may be visualized from any angle, from the exterior or interior of the object, and manipulated in response to user input. Virtual content objects and/or user visualizations of virtual content objects may be shared with other users (local and/or remote), enabling multiple users to potentially build, modify, and/or interact with a virtual content object simultaneously and/or cooperatively.
Word forming game assembly
A word forming game assembly for entertainment includes a panel, which comprises an array of elements. Each element can selectively present a first view, a second view, and a third view to a player. An integer generating device randomly generates an integer and presents the integer to the player. The player is permitted to select a set of the elements from the array of elements, based on the integer, for presentation of the second view. The second view of each element comprises a subset of letters of an alphabet. The player can select one of the letters from the subset of letters for presentation in the third view. The selected ones of the letters from the sets of the letters are required to comprise a word.
Rock, Paper, Scissors, Scoot
The present invention relates to the combination of tradition board games, a gym activity and rock paper scissors which also integrates as well with an on-line application. The new methods and solutions have generated different ways of playing three games at once.
Method to Play American Football Strategy Game
American football is unique among all team sports with respect to the level of coaching involvement in each play. The moment that coaches from both sides call the offensive and defensive play respectively, there's already a winner and a loser on paper. The key idea and original motive of this invention is to develop a football game algorithm to compare two play calls drawing on boards: one offense and one defense, and to predict what is the likely outcome for one scrimmage down. To make the game algorithm as close to reality as possible, many aspects need to be considered, which include but are not limited to: real football rules, real event sequence, information process logics, and balance among position players with similar role. The result of all the careful consideration is a football strategy game with three-stage algorithm for a scrimmage down.
