USE OF SEMANTIC BOARDS AND SEMANTIC BUTTONS FOR TRAINING AND ASSISTING THE EXPRESSION AND UNDERSTANDING OF LANGUAGE
Devices for providing language-like abilities for dogs. Using polygonal layouts, audible, scent, visible and other cues, the devices provide an efficient and novel ability to communicate with dogs in a granular manner. Devices for capturing and releasing scents are provided. Novel button designs and functions are taught with particular suitability for animal training.
Educational electronic circuit block set and simulation board displaying electric current flow
An educational game includes a controller and a computer to operate software; a game board, having a first transparent layer with slots arranged in a grid; a second layer housing a plurality of LEDs; a third layer housing the controller and computer; and an activation button; blocks to engage with the slots, each of the blocks having an encoding on a bottom surface; the blocks represent circuit elements and the slots represent electrically active slots for the circuit elements, thereby forming a circuit; the blocks allow a user to create a user modeled circuit; and the computer creates the user modeled circuit and analyzes the user modeled circuit to create a visualization feedback associated with the user modeled circuit, the visual feedback providing one or more unique LED patterns and one or more LED brightness variables to symbolize current flow and power intensity.
Determining hardness quotients for level definition files based on player skill level
A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method are described herein for a System Tuner for customizing a player's experience. A System Tuner selects a hardness quotient, based on a player skill level, from a hardness quotient range, the player skill level for a player is calculated by a client computing device based at least on a plurality of game moves in a first game level completed by the player. The System Tuner provides the hardness quotient to a level definition file for a second game level. The level definition file modifies at least one feature of the second game level according to the hardness quotient. The System Tuner modifies the hardness quotient range based at least on a performance of the plurality of player's in the second game level and the respective hardness quotients assigned to each of those players for their game play in the second game level.
PRIME BOARD
A method of using a math manipulative configured to help a user organize a breakdown of a given number into its prime factors, the method including using a board comprising columns, each column assigned to a different prime number and configured to accommodate chips, the board giving a visual picture of the prime factors of the given number to the user, and adding the chips in each of the columns by the user, wherein a number of chip added in each of the columns is the number of times the prime number corresponding to each column is a prime factor of the given number.
APPARATUS FOR A BOARD GAME
A board game apparatus is described that includes a square playing board, and a first set and a second set of game coins. The square playing board includes a playing surface and two opposite playing sides, namely, attacking side (A) and defending side (D). The first set of game coins (f) are marked with indicia, such as I, II, III, IV, V, VII, and XI. The second set of game coins (s) consist of indicia Hash (#). The attacking side (A) is allotted with the first set of game coins (f) and the defending side (D) is allotted with the second set of game coins (s). The board game apparatus is designed to play games employing mathematical skills which provide amusement and educational stimulation to both adults and children.
Entertaining Educational Apparatus and Method of Understating, Appreciating and Assimilating Sustainability Behaviors and Infrastructure Deployment Towards Equitable Global Sustainable Development (EGSD) From the Personal and Community Basis
An educational game that allows players to navigate a board and invest in (purchase) spaces that emphasize Sustainable Development Goals to players. Additional actions by the player are dictated by Risk Taking or Global Commons cards after landing on the corresponding space. The game may be played primarily in two game modes: socialist and capitalist. Each mode dictates different ways by which the board is navigated, how proceeds are taxed for each player, how players are treated when they cannot meet financial obligations, and how to determine which player has won the game. While winning is still one goal of the game, the main takeaways from playing the game are rooted in reflection on equitable global sustainable development, the SDGs and how meeting these goals is affected by a socialist or capitalist worldview of global governance and citizens as stakeholders.
MAZE GAME APPARATUS WITH STORYTELLING
A maze game with storytelling is configured to enable a player to play by selecting and placing connectible puzzle pieces to collectively form a maze. Each connectible puzzle piece includes a character, a segment of a path, and a plot of a story. The maze game includes a plurality of connectible puzzle piece of various types. Types of the puzzle pieces include puzzle pieces that include illustrations of characters that specify a part of evolving plots of a story. The player plays the maze game by interactively selecting and placing connectible puzzle pieces and create a maze by extending segments of the path while evolving plots of a story. The game includes the player perform storytelling based on an evolving plot of the story by tracing the path of the maze using an actor piece.
