MAHJONG ROULETTE GAMING SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A gaming system combines roulette and mahjong gaming into a single new game for ball-effecting a mahjong event. The game may comprise a grouped series of roulette wheel assemblies bearing mahjong symbols and a plurality of balls respectively receivable in ball-receiving sectors for identifying a number of mahjong symbols. The group of mahjong symbols identified by the randomly received balls defines a wagerable mahjong event. Players may participate in the gaming in a player participation area, which area is opposed a theatrical or auditorium type visual display of the grouped roulette wheel assembly action. Players may input their wagers in the player participation area and watch the roulette action unfold on the visual displays. Certain methodology for effecting the mahjong event is further supported by the roulette medium.
ROULETTE APPARATUS
The present inventions concerns a roulette apparatus (1) comprising at least one graphical roulette-display-system (10) and a mechanical wheel (20) having a plurality of pockets (21) adapted to receive a ball, wherein the mechanical wheel (20) and the at least one graphical roulette-display-system (10) is controlled by an electronic-control-system (30) and wherein the at least one graphical roulette-display-system (10) displays a field of numbers and/or symbols and the roulette apparatus (1) further comprising at least one wheel control unit (60) adapted to influence the rotation and/or movement of the mechanical wheel (20) according to the electronic-control-system (30) in order to bring the wheel into a position based on an information received from the electronic-control-system (30).
Game display arrangement and system for displaying a game result from a game result generator
A roulette wheel display arrangement and system is disclosed for displaying a winning result from the roulette wheel. The arrangement comprises a display screen which is arranged to extend around a periphery of the wheel, and a plurality of screen facets, each facet being arranged to extend adjacent a corresponding player wagering position. The arrangement further comprises a plurality of image projection units which are separately arranged to project the winning result onto a respective facet of the display screen, the screen facets being inclined toward the roulette wheel away from the respective player wagering position, such that a player can view the winning result from the wagering position on the respective screen facet. The system further comprises a detector for detecting the location of a playing member on the roulette wheel and a processor communicatively coupled with the detector and the display arrangement, for processing the location of the playing member on the roulette wheel to determine the winning result. The processor is arranged to output the winning result to the display arrangement for displaying the winning result on the display screen.
