SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF WATER FROM OIL
The present invention relates to a system for removing water from oil from an oil supply, where the system comprises a housing comprising an inner opening, an oil inlet tube connecting the oil supply and an oil inlet of the housing, where the oil inlet tube comprises an inlet pump adapted to provide a flow of oil in a direction from said oil supply to said oil inlet, an oil outlet tube connecting an oil outlet of the housing and the oil supply, where the oil outlet tube comprises an outlet pump adapted to provide a flow of oil in a direction from said oil outlet to said oil supply, an air inlet tube providing a gas connection between an air supply unit and an air inlet of the housing, and an air outlet tube providing a gas connection between an air outlet of the housing and the air supply unit, where said outlet pump is adapted as to provide a flow at a higher pumping flow rate than the pumping flow rate provided by said inlet pump. The invention further relates to a method of removing water from oil from an oil supply.
PROCESS FOR REMOVING DISSOLVED GAS FROM AN EVAPORATOR FEED STREAM
A method for treating produced water or a feedwater stream with an evaporator. The feedwater stream or produced water is directed to and through a deaerator located upstream of the evaporator. Steam produced by the evaporator is utilized to strip dissolved gases from the produced water or feedwater stream passing through the deaerator. To efficiently strip dissolved gases, the vapor pressure in the deaerator is maintained at below atmospheric pressure and the produced water or feedwater stream is heated to a temperature greater than the saturated vapor temperature in the deaerator.
AN INTENSIFIED PROCESS OF SYNTHESIS OF DIALKYL ETHERS USING A STEP CONICAL REACTOR
The present invention relates to an intensification of the synthetic process for the preparation of dialkyl ether from alcohol by using a conical fixed bed reactor integrated with distillation coupled conical polishing reactor.
Purge Gas Contaminate Elimination Device and System for a Vehicle
A device for separating a fluid component from a fluid, in particular compressed air of a vehicle, is provided. The device has a first container for containing the fluid, the first container being arranged to separate at least a part of one or more components contained in the fluid from the fluid, and a second container, the second container being arranged to separate at least a part of one or more components contained in the fluid from the fluid. The two containers are interconnected by a throttle device adapted to throttle a transfer of at least a part of the fluid from the first container into the second container.
Purge Gas Contaminate Elimination Device and System for a Vehicle
A device for separating a fluid component from a fluid, in particular compressed air of a vehicle, is provided. The device has a first container for containing the fluid, the first container being arranged to separate at least a part of one or more components contained in the fluid from the fluid by evaporation. The first container includes one or more openings through which a substance can be supplied to the fluid in the first container for breaking an emulsion or mixture of two or more components contained in the fluid and an exhaust through which the at least part of the one or more separated components can be exhausted.
Purge Gas Contaminate Elimination System for a Vehicle
A system for separating a fluid component from a fluid, in particular compressed air of a vehicle, is provided. The system has a first container for containing the fluid, the first container being arranged to separate at least a part of one or more components contained in the fluid from the fluid, an exhaust connected to the first container through which the at least part of the one or more separated components can be exhausted, an air treatment unit connected to the first container to supply air treated in the air treatment unit to the first container, and a supply of an emulsion breaking substance to the fluid in the first container.
METHOD FOR CLEANING VAPORIZER AND VAPORIZATION APPARATUS
A method for cleaning a vaporizer that vaporizes, at normal temperature and pressure, a source material in a liquid state, and supplies the vaporized source material to a reactor through a supply pipe, includes a cleaning step of passing the source material to the vaporizer while maintaining the source material in a liquid state to clean the vaporizer.
Method for assisting thermally-induced changes
Disclosed herein is a method for assisting a thermally-induced change to a nano-sized solute or dispersed-phase in a liquid. The method comprises the step of passing gas bubbles through the liquid, the gas in the gas bubbles having a temperature higher than the bulk temperature of the liquid.
Acetylation of cannabinol
A process for producing THC-O-acetate using a succession of distillation, salting-out assisted liquid-liquid extractions (SALLEs), and solvent recovery techniques. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in cannabis oil reacts with acetic anhydride under reflux to produce THC-O-acetate and acetic acid. The resulting crude product is distilled and subjected to a SALLE with hexane followed by a SALLE with petroleum ether, before being distilled again in order to obtain a refined, THC-O-acetate product.
SPARGING EVAPORATOR WITH POROUS MEDIA FOR FUEL ENRICHMENT IN CATALYTIC INERTING SYSTEM
A sparging evaporator for an inerting system including an outer vessel, an inner vessel within the outer vessel, and a plenum formed between the inner and outer vessels. The outer vessel includes a gas inlet for receiving inlet gas into the plenum, and a liquid inlet for receiving liquid fuel into the plenum. The inlet gas in the plenum generates a gas pressure that is exerted against a free surface of the liquid fuel in the plenum thereby forcing the liquid fuel and the inlet gas through an inlet of the inner vessel. The inner vessel contains a structure that promotes liberation of fuel vapor from the liquid fuel and enables the inlet gas in the liquid fuel to sparge the fuel vapor in the liquid fuel, thereby forming a fuel-enriched gas mixture that can be fed to a reactor of the inerting system.
