Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may provide electrical energy and thermal to extraction or separation equipment. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may extract and concentrate essential elements plant matter. An amount of wasted heat energy collected from an engine that powers an electrical generator may be provided to an evaporation or separation process when electrical power is provided to extraction or separation processing equipment. Computers or electronics that control equipment consistent with the present disclosure may be remotely controlled via a mobile electronic device, when desired. Such computers or electronics may receive sensor data related to the operation of plant matter extractors, related separation equipment, or other equipment may be used to manage a production line. As such, methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may extract essential elements from cannabis plant matter and process those essential elements into cannabis extracts or isolates.

The present description relates to a method for extracting at least one substance of interest, the method comprising the following steps: —providing an admixture comprising water, a source comprising the at least one substance of interest or at least one precursor thereof, at least one surfactant and at least one lipophilic compound; —the emulsification of the admixture, leading to the formation of an emulsion; wherein the emulsion comprises: —a continuous aqueous phase; and a discontinuous lipidic phase comprising the at least one lipophilic compound, the at least one surfactant and at least one substance of interest extracted from the source during the emulsification; wherein the method further comprises the addition of at least one cryoprotectant to the admixture and the lyophilisation of the emulsion.

Methods for obtaining a cannabinoid powder comprising a filtered CBD composition including (a) providing a biomass feedstock comprising a portion of Cannabis sativa plant; (b) extracting by sonification of the biomass feedstock at least a sonification terpene composition; and (c) filtering the sonfiication terpene composition using a pressure filter to produce a filtered CBD composition and a filtered terpene mixture.

An extraction method for nonpolar natural substances includes: a step of conducting extraction of natural raw materials to prepare a first liquid extract; a step of mixing the first liquid extract with a phase separation composition containing a lipophilic solubilizer and water, and conducting a second extraction; and a step of isolating the supernatant of the phase-separated solution to obtain non-polar natural substances.

The process for extracting cannabis essential oils includes the steps of introducing trichome material from the cannabis plant into the housing, introducing water and ice into the housing via an opening therein, and agitating the water and ice and the trichome material to separate and extract essential oils therefrom.

A rotatable impeller is disposed in the housing. A container is connected to the housing for collecting essential oils. The process for extracting cannabis essential oils includes the steps of introducing trichome bearing material from the cannabis plant into the housing, introducing water into the housing via an opening therein, and agitating the water and the trichome bearing material to separate and extract essential oils therefrom.
