GAME APPARATUS WITH MATCHED OUTER AND INNER VESSELS AND METHOD OF PLAYING
The invention provides a game apparatus having matched inner and outer vessels and a set of cards that can be used to play a game. Each vessel of the game apparatus is configured to hold a liquid such as water or beer, which can be dispensed into the vessel body through the open top. The outer vessel is larger than the inner vessel and configured to hold the inner vessel in a substantially upright position and rotatable in its hollow interior. The matched inner and outer vessels can be used to play a game in which two or more players take turn adding at least a drop of water to an inner vessel placed in a fluid-filled outer vessel until a player loses by causing the inner vessel to sink by adding more fluid than the inner vessel can hold. The invention also provides a plurality of karma cards that are content matched to a two-vessel game apparatus. A karma card can stipulate one or more actions to be taken when a player causes the inner cup to sink to a position identified by an outcome element on the outer cup. The invention methods for playing games using the matched two-vessel game apparatus, as well as score cards.

A method and an arrangement for the operation of a prize wheel by a user. The position of the center of gravity and the position of a hand of the user are ascertained using a camera; a height threshold is fixed in relation to the center of gravity; if the position of the hand exceeds the height threshold, a rotation phase is started, the rotation which is carried out by the movement of the hand of the user is continuously ascertained, and a rotational angle is ascertained; the angular speed, i.e. the rate of change over time of the ascertained angle, is determined; the rotation phase is ended, and an angular speed, is fixed as the initial rotational speed; and a free rotation phase is started. The prize wheel is further rotated, and the prize wheel is continuously braked and comes to rest upon a specified end position.

This disclosure relates generally to gaming equipment and/or accessories, such as dice and dice spinners. In various aspects, disclosed dice spinners include a housing having a top and a bottom, the top defining one or more windows, and a spinner housed within the housing, the spinner having a locking mechanism and at least one dice disk. Disclosed dice spinners may further include a crown in mechanical communication with the spinner such that applying pressure to the crown causes the spinner to spin and display one or more numbers through the one or more windows of the housing.

The operations include detecting, by a processor, a position at which a token is placed upon a betting layout for a roulette game and accepting the token as a bet for the roulette game. The operations can further include selecting, by the processor based on the bet type, a highlight effect from a plurality of different highlight effects. The operations can further include animating, by the processor, the highlight effect on one or more portions of a roulette wheel associated with one or more bet-upon values for the bet type.

CONTROLLING ROULETTE HIGHLIGHT FEATURES
A method is provided for controlling presentation of roulette bet information on a roulette wheel display. The method includes detecting, by a processor, placement of one or more bets for one or more bet-upon values on a betting layout for a roulette game. Prior to an outcome of the roulette game and in response to the detecting, the processor deemphasizes portions of a roulette wheel corresponding to non-bet-upon values by dimming a lighting effect on the portions of the roulette wheel for the non-bet-upon values. Concurrently with the deemphasizing, the processor animates a highlight effect on one or more portions of the roulette wheel associated with one or more bet-upon values, thereby providing an enhanced pre-outcome presentation of bet coverage on the roulette wheel and/or reduced display illumination for non-bet-upon values.
