Thickener Feed Distributor
A feedwell comprising a plurality of holes disposed in a bottom thereof, at least some of the holes having a tube disposed thereabout which extends downward or otherwise away from an interior of the feedwell. Optionally, a large center hole can be provided and it can have a tube disposed around it. By providing a plurality of holes spread across a large portion of the bottom of the feedwell, lower velocity flow rates from the feedwell to a sedimentation chamber can be provided, thus reducing induced turbulence in the fluid within the sedimentation chamber, while still providing sufficient separation of the feedwell from the sedimentation chamber so that the contents of the feedwell can be properly and adequately mixed.
System and method for processing flowback fluid with a manifold skid and diversion header
The system and method for processing flowback fluid include a plurality of wellheads producing flowback fluid flows, a manifold skid, a plurality of first stage separators corresponding to at least one wellhead of an installation with multiple wellheads and multiple flowback fluid flows, a plurality of metering devices corresponding to each first stage separator, and a second stage separator in fluid connection with the metering devices and the first stage separators. Flowback fluid flows pass from the wellhead to the manifold skid so that the flowback fluid flows can be distributed under controlled conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate. The manifold skid improves safety, efficiency, and control of the later separation processes in the first stage separators and second stage separator.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for separating fluid mixtures
Techniques and apparatus for separating a Flowback mixture received from a wellbore. Employing a vessel or system of vessels to receive the fluid mixture and configured to manage the discharge of gases, liquids, and solids to maintain a vapor barrier in the vessel(s) to prevent unwanted release of gas to the atmosphere.
Clarifier for water treatment
The present invention is directed to a clarifier for water treatment including a plurality of planar inclined sheets including a flexible polymeric material. Each sheet includes a hydrophobic surface. The present invention is also directed to a clarifier that includes at least one module, each module including: a plurality of vertically-oriented supports and a planar inclined sheet including a flexible polymeric material tensioned between the plurality of vertically-oriented supports. The present invention is also directed to a water collection system of a water treatment system including: a collection trough configured to receive liquid and a buoyant member configured to support the collection trough.
FLOCCULATION AND SEDIMENTATION APPARATUS
A flocculation and sedimentation apparatus has: sedimentation tank that causes flocs in raw water to be sedimented and separated; sludge concentration tank that is surrounded by sedimentation tank and that collects and concentrates the flocs; and raw water supply mechanism having center line that passes through sludge concentration tank, wherein raw water supply mechanism rotates about center line and supplies the raw water to sedimentation tank. Raw water supply mechanism includes: raw water introducing portion that is located on center line and to which the raw water is introduced, raw water supply port that is open at a lower portion of an inner space of sedimentation tank and that supplies the raw water to sedimentation tank, and pipe portion that communicates both with raw water introducing portion and with raw water supply port and that extends above sludge concentration tank in a direction away from center line.

Particle settling devices
Settling devices for separating particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields. The particle settling devices include a first stack of cones with a small opening oriented upwardly or downwardly. Optionally, the settling devices may include a second stack of cones with a small opening oriented downwardly or upwardly. The cones may be concave or convex. These devices are useful for separating small (millimeter or micron sized) particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields, such as biological (microbial, mammalian, plant, insect or algal) cell cultures, solid catalyst particle separation from a liquid or gas and waste water treatment.
LAMELLA FILTER TANK ASSEMBLY
A tank assembly for the treatment of waste streams that include settling pollutants and floating pollutants. The tank assembly includes an inlet conduit, a first compartment that includes a first drain at a bottom thereof, a second compartment that includes a second drain at a bottom thereof, a third compartment that includes a third drain at a bottom thereof, and an outlet conduit. The second compartment also includes at least a first lamella filter package disposed therein. The third compartment also includes a skimmer, an underrun member and an overrun member. A liquid flow path is defined from the inlet conduit, through the first compartment, through the second compartment and the first lamella filter pack, through the third compartment, past the skimmer, under the underrun, over the overrun and out the outlet conduit.
Method and System for Separating Oil Well Substances
A method and system for separating oil well substances by using a separator system comprising inclined tubular oil and water separators for separating the respective fluid components mixed in fluids from oil wells, combined with providing a liquid lock upstream the inclined tubular oil and water separators, as well as establishing and maintaining water-wetted entrance to the inclined tubular oil and water separators.
BOTTOM SECTION FOR BEING CONNECTED TO AN ASSEMBLY WITH PLATE SETTLER, AND ASSEMBLY WITH PLATE SETTLER
This disclosure relates to a bottom section for being connected to an assembly for separating a solid component from a fluid. The assembly includes an inclined plate settler with at least one sedimentation channel for letting a solid component to be separated settle, said plate settler comprising a lower portion and an upper portion, wherein said at least one sedimentation channel extends from the lower portion to the upper portion. The bottom section is configured to be connected to the lower portion of the inclined plate settler. The bottom section comprises at least one inlet channel for feeding a fluid comprising the solid component to be separated to the plate settler, and at least one collection channel for collecting a settled solid component descending from the at least one sedimentation channel. Said at least one inlet channel and said at least one collection channel are fluidly separated from each other, said inlet channel and said collection channel being connectable to said at least one sedimentation channel, to form fluid connections between said at least one inlet channel and said at least one sedimentation channel and between said at least one collection channel and said at least one sedimentation channel, respectively.
