Sludge extraction apparatus and method
A sludge collector arrangement has a settling tank having side walls sloping downwardly and inwardly towards the base of the tank to from a V-base. A sludge collection unit located in the bottom of the tank has one funnel part facing in one direction and another funnel part facing in the other direction so that when the unit is driven backwards and forwards in the V-base, sludge is driven into one or other of the funnel parts. The funnel parts communicate with a central chamber and a port in a wall of the chamber allows sludge to be drawn by a suction pump from the chamber for subsequent disposal.
Method and Apparatus for Filtration of Lime-Treated Water
A method and apparatus is provided for water filtration of a milk of lime solution that contains water, impurities, and grit particles, in which the milk of lime solution enters a vessel, and wherein turbulence is created in the vessel, by which larger grit particles settle out of the milk of lime solution, to form a bed of grit particles in the lower end of the vessel, such that grit particles and impurities are filtered from the lime-treated water that comprises a milk of lime solution, with water then being drawn off, that may be discharged out one or more dosing locations and/or recycled back for further filtration, as may be desired.
SLUDGE EXTRACTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

BACKFLOW COLLECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECLAIMING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a backflow collection system and method for reclaiming backflow from a wellbore. In one embodiment, a backflow collection system comprises a collection tank having an upper and lower section, the collection tank having a side opening configured to receive backflow from an oil/gas well, as well as a discharge port proximate an upper end of the upper section configured to discharge gas from the collection tank; and a substantially vertical auger system coupled proximate the lower section of the collection tank, the auger configured to receive solid and liquid matter from a bottom opening in the collection tank, and when elevated remove at least a portion of the solid and liquid matter from the collection tank, the collection tank designed such that when fluid is contained therein it acts as a liquid/gas seal to prevent gas from exiting through the bottom opening in the collection tank.
Solids removal system and method
The system and method is directed to improved separation or clarification of solids from a solids-laden liquid, including the removal of low gravity solids. A liquid to be treated is introduced into the inlet of a solid-liquid separator modified to include one or more sources of vibrational energy. The liquid is directed through a conduit within the separator. This conduit can be configured into a tortuous flow path to assist in the separation of solids from the liquid, the tortuous path being interconnected between two separation towers. Vibrational energy and gas sparging is applied to the flow path. As solids fall out of solution, they are collected. The clarified liquid is also collected. A vacuum can be applied to the system to assist in moving the solid-liquid mixture through the system and to provide vacuum clarification. Electrocoagulation electrodes can also be employed.
Systems and Methods for Extracting Sand from Raw Slurry Material
A processing system for processing raw slurry material comprising at least liquid, sand, and contaminates comprises a barrel member, at least one transport member, at least one separator member, and a drive system. As the drive system rotates the barrel member about the barrel longitudinal axis, a portion of the raw slurry material is transported through a pre-processing portion of the processing chamber. At least a portion of the liquid and at least a portion of the contaminates in the raw slurry material flows back down the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber towards a barrel inlet. At least one intermediate opening is arranged such that at least a portion of the contaminates in the raw slurry material flowing down through the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber passes through the at least one intermediate opening.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING LIQUIDS AND SOLUTIONS TO REMOVE AND/OR SEPARATE COMPONENTS THEREOF USING STABILIZED GAS INFUSED LIQUIDS
A system for treating liquids and solutions for separating components thereof, the system including a treatment vessel having a treatment chamber therein, a device for generating a gas-infused liquid under elevated pressure, and a device for stabilizing the gas-infused liquid such that most of the gas infused into the liquid by the device for generating a gas-infused liquid will remain in the liquid if pressure of the liquid is reduced to atmospheric pressure, and for flowing the stabilized gas-infused liquid into the treatment chamber so as to form a liquid layer including the stabilized, gas-infused liquid in the treatment chamber. The treatment vessel includes a discharge port through which some of the stabilized, gas-infused liquid in the liquid layer may be discharged from the treatment vessel, the withdrawn liquid is infused with an additional amount of the gas, again stabilized, and again flown the liquid into the treatment chamber.
WATER RECOVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for recovering clarified water and by-products from hydrovac waste or other slurry waste include a receiving unit for receiving the waste; a processing unit for separating coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, and raw water within the waste; and a water clarifying unit for removing ultrafine suspended solids and solid particles from the raw water to yield clarified water.
Backflow collection system and method for reclaiming the same
The present disclosure provides a backflow collection system and a method for reclaiming backflow from a wellbore. The backflow collection system, in one embodiment, includes a collection vessel having an upper section and a lower section, the collection vessel having a side opening configured to receive backflow from an oil/gas well, as well as a discharge port proximate an upper end of the upper section configured to discharge pressurized gas from the collection vessel.
