Method for solid-liquid separations
Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed to separate solids from liquids. A vessel includes a screw, an inlet, a first outlet, and a second outlet. The inlet receives a first slurry having an incoming solids concentration. The first slurry consists of solids and a contact liquid. The first outlet is disposed toward the first end of the vessel. The second outlet is disposed toward a second end of the vessel. The screw preferentially conveys the solids over the contact liquid towards the second end of the vessel, the solids displacing at least a portion of the contact liquid, causing that portion of the contact liquid to flow toward the first outlet. A melting device is included.
Vertical gas diffusing device
An assembly for diffusing gas from a first slurry having an open-bottomed housing having an opening for conveying a second slurry from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes one or more intake conduits extending through an upper mid-portion of the housing for receiving the first slurry, and a gas diffusing channel formed in the housing for conveying diffused gas from the liquid from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes a dumping assembly having a dump valve used to convey fluid from an upper layer of fluid located inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly may include a recirculation pump and a suction conduit coupled to the pump for pumping fluid (dyed fluid) from inside of the housing. The assembly is configured to be partially submerged in liquid, such as in a tank.
Method for extracting herbal medicine
A method for extracting herbal medicine includes: step one, spray extraction; step two, pressure filtration and concentration; step three, spray and countercurrent precipitation; and step four, concentrating reduced pressure and drying.
System for separating solids from a fluid stream
A system for separating solids from a fluid includes a containment vessel having a V-shaped tank in fluid communication with an agitated overflow tank. Baffles within the V-shaped tank provide a series of zones where the fluid is deposited for processing. A shaftless auger at the bottom of the V-shaped tank transfers solids to an area where they are pumped to a first hydrocyclone assembly associated with a first shaker. Overflow from the hydrocyclone assembly and underflow from the first shaker is further processed by a second hydrocyclone assembly associated with a second shaker. Overflow from the second hydrocyclone assembly and underflow from the second shaker are deposited into overflow tank which contains the cleaned fluid.
PINCH VALVE FOR SOIL EXTRUSION SYSTEM
An extrusion system for separating particulates entrained in wash water, e.g. from harvesting tuberous produce, includes a settling tank configured to receive a flow of particulated water. A diffuser suspended within the tank converts the flow of particulated water into multiple transverse flows to avoid churning settled particulates. A particulate filter fixed within the tank includes a central channel surrounded by a cylindrical array of cantilevered parallel vertical blades. The channel directs the flows below the blades, causing dynamic movement of the blades as the particulated water rises therebetween to trap particulates along boundary layers, promote particulate settling by gravity, and allow clarified water to rise to the top of the tank. A sensor detects settled particulate reaching a predetermined setpoint, and in response the system actuates an auger and opens a pinch valve to force concentrated particulate from the bottom of the tank.
Electro-separation cell with solids removal
An electro-separation apparatus for separation of drilling fluids is provided. The apparatus can include a reaction chamber and a set of electrode plates provided in the reaction chamber. A sediment outlet can be provided near a bottom of the reaction chamber and wiper blades can be provided for sweeping sediment that has collected on the electrode plates towards the sediment outlet.
SEPARATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
A separator system and method may provide a four-way separator that may separate a material and remove a hazardous material. The hazardous material may include gas and sand that may he removed by the four-way separator. The separator system and method may further provide a main unit that may include three chambers or recirculation hoppers, an auger sand extractor, and a strap tank. The separator system and method may provide a faster rig-up time and may be exclusively driven by hydraulics.
Multiphase separation and pressure letdown method
A method and apparatus for the separation of gas and liquid-solid slurry under pressure, and passage of the liquid-solid slurry to an atmospheric discharge.
Method and apparatus for filtration of lime-treated water
A method and apparatus is provided for water filtration of a milk of lime solution that contains water, impurities, and grit particles, in which the milk of lime solution enters a vessel, and wherein turbulence is created in the vessel, by which larger grit particles settle out of the milk of lime solution, to form a bed of grit particles in the lower end of the vessel, such that grit particles and impurities are filtered from the lime-treated water that comprises a milk of lime solution, with water then being drawn off, that may be discharged out one or more dosing locations and/or recycled back for further filtration, as may be desired.
Automated wastewater treatment system and methods
A machine and methods using electro-chemical treatments, sedimentation processes and dissolved air flotation technologies for clarification of several kind of wastewater produced in industries, sewages, ponds, lakes, canals etc. The machine comprises of, feeding lines with multiple feeding point, a tank and further a collection tank. The wastewater is passed into the feeding line which may comprises of several feeding points for coagulants, flocculants, and other chemicals dosing into the flow of wastewater and may also comprises of a static mixer for mixing the coagulants, flocculants, and other chemicals with wastewater to agglomerate any solid particles and to accelerate separation of the solid particles in the tank. Once the solid are formed, they can go up or down, therefore to remove the suspended solids the outlet are rearranged depending on the suspended solids. Further, the machine is used for treatment of wastewater utilising multi pass concept to produce clean water.
