The main filter body includes a flow disrupter, the flow disrupter comprising a tiered plate assembly arranged in the filter body and each plate in the tiered plate assembly comprises an arrangement of apertures. The inlet of the manifold, the tiered plate assembly, the outlet of the manifold and a bottom of the main filter body define a flow path for fluid to be treated.

REMOVAL DEVICE

A removal device for removing gas bubbles and/or dirt particles from a liquid in a liquid conduit system or for removing a second liquid from a first liquid in the conduit system includes a main channel for a main flow, a housing which defines an inner space, at least one supply channel extending from the main channel to the inner space, at least one return channel extending from the inner space back to the main channel, directly or indirectly via a return chamber, at least one quiet zone in the inner space in which in use the liquid has a substantially smaller velocity than in the main channel. The quiet zone is configured to allow dirt particles or a relatively heavy liquid to settle at a lower end of the housing and/or gas bubbles or a relatively light liquid to rise to an upper end of the housing.

SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR AUTOMATED SAND SEPARATION

A sand handling system having, for example, one to three sand separators are configured to be operatively connected to a well and an inlet of a common dumping vessel. Advantageously, the dumping vessel has a sensor to measure an amount of sand in the dumping vessel and provide a signal to a programmable controller which is arranged to dump the dumping vessel when a specified amount of sand is in the dumping vessel. The system automates the sand handling process and also measures and records data associated with a number of flowback parameters. The data can then be used in well design to improve oil and/or gas production, lessen sand production, reduce well damage and/or equipment corrosion due to, for example, sand.

Particle seperator
10918974 · 2021-02-16 ·

An apparatus and methods for the separation of macroscopic solid body particles (SBPs) from a fluid stream contained in a conduit, such as a hose or pipe. The method involves utilizing a particle separator having a fluid inlet port connected to a fluid inlet conduit and a fluid outlet port connected to a fluid outlet conduit to change the direction (and optionally the velocity) of the fluid stream within a lumen of an enclosed vessel component of the particle separator sufficiently to permit SBPs to fall by gravity (and/or to descend due to inertia) into a removable receptacle within a bottom portion of the vessel component while directing the flow of cleansed fluid to the fluid outlet port of the particle seperator.

Round baffle box water treatment system with at least one sidewall baffle

Vertically oriented cylindrical vaults, boxes, systems, and methods of treatment systems to capture pollutants from storm water runoff and prevent the conveyance of these pollutants from entering a receiving water body or landscape area, which is designed to be a part of a local permanent storm water drainage infrastructure. A flow deflector can include a flow spreader for splitting an incoming flow into two flow paths that interact with high profile vertical baffle(s), and with low profile vertical baffles, and angled low profile vertical baffles that extend above downwardly inclined surfaces of a horizontal deflector having an opening for allowing debris to fall. Treated water can pass out of an outflow pipe on an opposite side of the cylindrical vault. A bottom open skimmer or a flow restrictive skimmer or a hydro-variant skimmer can be used in front of the output flow port. A hydro slide system can be used to push debris toward the middle of a sloped floor for easier removal through access points in the vault lid. The input flow port can be spaced approximately 90 degrees from the output port. And the input port and the output port can be on the same sides of the cylindrical vault.

WASTE LIQUID TREATING APPARATUS
20200338478 · 2020-10-29 ·

A sedimenting assembly for sedimenting debris contained in a processed waste liquid in a sedimentation tank includes a plurality of partition plates extending vertically across a direction in which the processed waste liquid flows and disposed at spaced intervals in the direction, thereby defining a zigzag channel through which the processed waste liquid flows horizontally. The zigzag channel ensures a time during which to sediment the debris against a time during which the processed waste liquid flows through the zigzag channel, allowing the debris to settle reliably.
