CONTAMINANT EXTRACTION IN A BOREHOLE
The present invention relates to a system for contaminant extraction in a borehole extending from a surface of the Earth through a water permeable layer and into an underlying production zone, the system comprising: an outer casing located within the borehole and extending through the water permeable layer; a production pipe located within the casing and extending towards the production zone; a filter assembly occupying at least part of an intermediate zone between the outer casing and the production pipe, wherein the filter assembly is configured to capture contaminants before they enter the water permeable layer and/or before they are released into the atmosphere, the filter assembly comprising: a lower solids filtering stage configured to filter solid contaminants; and an upper fluids filtering stage configured to filter fluid contaminants migrating from the production zone through the lower solids filtering stage; and sealing means for preventing the uncontrolled leakage of contaminants from the intermediate zone. Methods for contaminant extraction, a contaminant filtration system and solid and fluid filter modules are also disclosed.
SHOWER WATER FILTER ASSEMBLY
A compact shower water filter assembly for holding a water filter element therein. The water filter element is easily changeable by unscrewing two halves of a body forming the filter assembly. The body halves are easily gripped and turned, so as to be opened or closed. The upper half of the body is internally threaded to engage the shower arm, and may pivot about the shower arm. The bottom half of the water filter assembly may include a showerhead, converting the shower water filter assembly, into a filtered showerhead assembly. The shower water filter assembly may be easily and quickly adapted to be held on any shower arm, and to replace any existing shower water filter without taking up as much room as currently existing shower water filters.
Tide water filtering tanks having high circulation
A water filtering tank comprising a housing of the water filtering tank, water inlet pipe (3) installed on the housing receiving water into the tank, water distributing sheet (2) in which the said sheet is arranged inside the tank at the height lower than the inlet pipe (3) in which the said distributing sheet receives water flow through the inlet and comprises a plurality of pores positioned throughout the said sheet, rough filtering basket (1) in which the supporting lower surface comprises a plurality of pores and the said basket comprises rough filtering materials inside which arranged in the basket at the height less than the distributing sheet (2) and receives water flow through the said water distributing sheet, filtering material basket which is arranged inside the basket at the height less than that of the rough filtering basket (1) and comprises the filtering materials arranged into multiple layers and water outlet pipe (7) installed with the housing and releases water. Characterized in that the water filtering basket comprises a siphon tube supporting base (6) which is arranged at the lower part of the housing and further comprises a water outlet standing pipe (8) vertically installed on the said base and has the height less than the height of the inlet in which water is sucked out of the housing through the lower water outlet standing pipe (8) connected with the water outlet pipe (7) when water level filled inside the housing is at the same level as that of the water outlet standing pipe (8), siphon tube (10) covering the water outlet standing pipe (8) and further comprises snock tube (11) in which is in the U-shape having one end connected with the siphon tube at the predetermined height.
