DISPOSABLE FILTER CAPSULE FOR A FILTRATION DEVICE
A disposable filter capsule for a filtration device including only one housing, which has an inflow connection for a fluid to be filtered and an outflow connection for filtrate. The disposable filter capsule also includes at least two separate filters which are fixed in the housing and together with the housing form an inseparable structural unit. All the components of the disposable filter capsule consist of sterilizable, in particular gamma-sterilizable, materials.
Quick oil change filter and assembly
A filtration system includes a filter housing having a cavity and a base, a drain defined in the base, a channel defined in the base and in fluid communication with the drain, and a filter cartridge having a longitudinal axis and being movable between an installed position within the cavity of the filter housing and an uninstalled position outside the cavity of the filter housing. The channel defines an outer diameter. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate defining an outer diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the channel so that, in the installed position, the bottom endplate covers the channel and prevents fluid flow from the cavity to the drain, and a filter media extending axially outwardly from the bottom endplate.
Refrigerator drawer with cassette filter
A crisper drawer for a refrigerator having a refrigerated compartment is disclosed. The crisper drawer includes a plurality of side walls defining a storage chamber, an opening in a side wall to provide fluid communication between the storage chamber and the refrigerated compartment, and a multi-function filter cassette configured to be positioned within the opening. The multi-function filter cassette includes a first filter configured to remove contaminants from a first air flow within the refrigerated compartment, a second filter configured to remove contaminants and/or moisture from a second air flow within the storage chamber, and a central wall configured to prevent fluid communication between the refrigerated compartment and the storage chamber.
Replaceable filter elements including plural filter media and related filtration systems, techniques and methods
One embodiment is a filter element including an outer filter media and an inner filter media. The outer filter media is operable to remove particulates present in a flow of fluid and/or coalesce water contained in the flow of fluid. The inner filter media is operable to remove particulates from the flow of fluid, separate water form the flow of fluid, and remove particulates from the flow of fluid. Other embodiments include unique apparatus, devices, systems, and methods relating to fuel filters and filtration. Further embodiments, forms, objects, features, advantages, aspects, and benefits of the present application shall become apparent from the detailed description and figures included herewith.

QUICK OIL CHANGE FILTER AND ASSEMBLY
An internal combustion engine includes a blower housing and a filtration system positioned in a path of cooling air from the blower housing. The filtration system includes a filter housing comprising a base that defines a series of radially extending fins extending circumferentially around the base, and a filter cartridge defining a longitudinal axis and being removably arranged within the filter housing. The base includes a drain and a channel formed radially between a first raised surface and a second raised surface, and the drain is in fluid communication with the channel. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate in engagement with both the first raised surface and the second raised surface so that fluid flow is inhibited through the channel and to the drain, and a filter media extending axially from the bottom endplate.
Closed Bioprocessing Device
A filtration module is provided, the module including at least one filtration packet containing filtration media or one or more membranes, such as a stack of membranes, the at least one filtration packet having one or more fluid ports, the one or more fluid ports being surrounded by a primary seal and a secondary seal spaced from the primary seal. The secondary seals are designed to maintain sterility of the assembly during shipping, handling and/or installation. A removable film may cover one or more fluid ports to maintain sterility prior to use.
COMPOSITE FILTER CARTRIDGE
A composite filter cartridge is adapted to filter raw water to produce purified water, and includes an inner carbon tube, an outer carbon tube, a first end cap, a second end cap, and a plurality of resin granules. The inner carbon tube defines a water outlet channel adapted to output the purified water. The outer carbon tube is concentric with the inner carbon tube, and is spaced apart from the inner carbon tube. The first and second end caps respectively limit two ends of the inner and outer carbon tubes. The first end cap closes an end of the water outlet channel. The second end cap has a water outlet communicating with the water outlet channel. The second end cap cooperates with the inner carbon tube, the outer carbon tube, and the first end cap to define a resin granule accommodation space where the resin granules are accommodated.
