Pleated filtration media, media packs, filter elements, and methods for filtering fluids
Pleated filtration media, media packs, filter elements, and methods for filtering fluid are provided which contain three dimensional flutes in the media surface, the flutes configured to improve filter performance. In certain embodiments the flutes have defined peaks that reduce masking between adjacent pleats, the flutes have ridges along their length to modify flute cross sectional geometry, and/or the flutes provide for volume asymmetry across the media.
FLAT FILTER MEDIA
This disclosure relates generally to a filter media that can be used to filter a spa, hot tub, or pool. The filter media can include a body with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of pleats. A border is joined and surrounding a periphery of the body, the border for maintaining a planar shape of one or more of the top surface and bottom surface of the filter media.
STRAINERS
A strainer has a strainer body with a width and a height. The height of the strainer body is smaller than the width of the strainer body. The strainer body has a serpentine cross-sectional profile to provide rigidity and straining area. A fuel injector includes a strainer as described and a nozzle body with a fuel circuit defined therein. The strainer is integrally coupled to the nozzle body and is in fluid communication with the fuel circuit to remove entrained particulate from fuel traversing the strainer prior to the fuel reaching the fuel circuit.
Fluid drainage system with textured core sheets
A wastewater treatment system includes a cavity configured to receive a flow of wastewater for treatment. One or more core sheets are arranged within the cavity in a position to be contacted by wastewater entering the cavity. The core sheet has a primary textured surface enhances retention of wastewater fluid received by the unit, which over time causes an increase in build-up of biomatter on the surface, which in turn enhances the efficacy of treatment of the wastewater. One or more sheets of fabric may be used with the core sheet. The cavity may be within an aerobic treatment unit (ATU).
Filtration system for a water drainage system
A downspout drain filter includes a housing and a filter media. The housing defines an internal cavity, an inlet to the internal cavity along a top of the housing, and an outlet from the internal cavity along a bottom of the housing. The filter media is disposed within the internal cavity. The filter media divides the internal cavity into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The filter media is configured to trap debris in the upper chamber from fluid flowing downward through the internal cavity. The filter media is permeable such that the fluid flows from the upper chamber to the lower chamber.
FILTER MATERIAL COMPRISING NANOFIBER LAYER AND FILTER ELEMENT COMPOSED OF SUCH FILTER MATERIAL
A filter material for air filtration in a filter element, including an inflow-side pre-filter layer, an active carbon layer, and a composite layer which is in the form of a fine filter layer including nanofibers. The pre-filter layer, the active carbon layer and the composite layer are connected to one another in materially bonded fashion. The composite layer includes at least one top layer, a nanofiber layer and a carrier layer.
FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR A WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A downspout drain filter includes a housing having walls. The walls define an internal cavity operable to receive a filter media, an inlet to the internal cavity, and an outlet from the internal cavity. The walls include a sloped surface extending into the internal cavity along an intersection between a first of the walls and a second of the walls such that the internal cavity tapers in a direction that extends from the inlet to the outlet along the sloped surface.
3D printed filter center tube
A filter has a filter center tube that includes a plurality of layers of solidified material including a first layer with a first undulating strip of solidified material extending in a first predetermined direction, and a second layer with a second undulating strip of solidified material extending in a second predetermined direction. The first layer is in contact with the second layer and the first predetermined direction is not parallel with the second predetermined direction, forming a plurality of pores therebetween.
