METHOD OF UNLOADING FLOATING CONTAINERS
A system and method of transporting and unloading a load from a floating container that includes placing a load on a floating container at a first location, wherein the load is a mixture of solid material and liquid; moving the floating container with the load on a body of water from the first location to a remote second location; positioning the floating container so that a crane at the second location is within reach of the load; positioning a dewatering unit at the second location proximate the crane; unloading a quantity of the mixture of solid material and liquid from the floating container with the crane; depositing the quantity of the mixture of solid material and liquid into the dewatering unit; and dewatering the quantity of the mixture of solid material and liquid with the dewatering unit.
Spray accessory having filter for vehicle washer spray system
The disclosed inventive concept provides a fluid accessory for facilitating the dispensing of fluid onto a vehicle's windshield, cameras, sensors, or the like. The fluid accessory includes a body having an inlet portion and an outlet portion in which an inlet adapter and an outlet adapter, respectively, are fitted. The fluid accessory also includes a sleeve which is fitted within the body and around the inlet adapter. The body includes a plurality of longitudinal protrusions extending radially into the body. The sleeve and longitudinal projections cooperate to define a plurality of debris collection channels for collecting debris flowing within the fluid and through the fluid accessory. The fluid accessory also includes a filter media, such as a filter media, which is positioned between the outlet adapter and the body.
PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE
A pressure control device includes a body with a groove-shaped flow path including a groove part and a widened part connected to the groove part and having a width larger than a width of the groove part; and a filter member accommodated in the widened part to intercept the groove-shaped flow path and capturing foreign matters mixed in a fluid passing through the groove-shaped flow path. The filter member is in a cylindrical shape whose central axis is along a depth direction of the widened part, has elasticity in its radial direction, and is energized toward a radial-direction outer side when accommodated in the widened part to contact the widened part.
PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE
A pressure control device includes: a body having a groove-shaped flow path including a groove part and a widened part connected to the groove part and having a width larger than a width of the groove part; and a filter unit accommodated in the widened part to intercept the groove-shaped flow path and capturing foreign matters mixed in a fluid passing through the groove-shaped flow path. The filter unit includes: a filter member in a cylindrical shape whose central axis is along a depth direction of the widened part; and a cap attached to the filter member on one end side in the central axis direction and having a defining part defining a circumferential-direction disposition position of the filter member to the groove part.
Device for treating a slurry by separating solids from liquids
A device includes a compartment for separating the solids and liquids. The compartment includes a base that is concavely curved according to a cylindrical portion having a transverse axis and is formed of a sieve, an idler roller mounted transversely on an arm, a drive which actuates the arm, and resilient means for adjusting the pressure exerted by the rollers. Both the contact interface between the sieve and the roller and the rotational interface between the roller and the arm are made of a non-metal material on at least one of the two contacting surfaces that form each of the interfaces, such that, there is no metal-on-metal contact between surfaces moving relative to one another at the interfaces.
Debris filter with filter screen in the form of a spherical section
A debris filter has a housing, a filter screen mounted to the housing and disposed so as to extend across a flow path through the housing, a debris extractor mounted to the housing, and a splitter bar also mounted to the housing. The debris extractor and the filter screen are so mounted to the housing as to enable rotation of the filter screen and the debris extractor relative to one another. The debris extractor has a debris intake opening and the debris extractor and the splitter bar are so mounted to the housing that the intake opening is positionable adjacent to or in juxtaposition with the splitter bar with the splitter bar overlapping and shielding the intake opening.
FILTERING DEVICE FOR REMOVING SOLIDS FROM WATER
A filtering device for removing solids from water. Within the filtering device, water, under the force of gravity, flows through successive porous members. Plates are used to distribute the water prior to the water flowing through the porous members. Rotating brushes are used to removed retained solids from the porous members. The brushes are preferably returned to a home position when not being utilized to remove solids in which they are maintained out of contact with the porous members.
Connector pipe screen
A frameless, modular connector pipe screen insert designed for installation within storm water infrastructure, including a catch basin, for the treatment of storm water by removing trash and debris from incoming water flow. The connector pipe screen is optimally designed with perforation sizes and void areas to remove trash and debris; thereby preventing further pollution of nearby water systems including rivers, lakes, and oceans.
FILTER STRUCTURE ON PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE FOR HYDRAULIC TENSIONER
A filter assembled in front of oil inlet hole of a pressure relief valve prevents contamination of the pressure relief valve. A pressure relief valve and filter assembly for a tensioner includes a pressure relief valve comprising a hollow pressure relief valve body defining a chamber, the pressure relief valve body having a first end with an aperture, a second end, and a length extending from the first end to the second end and a filter comprising a filter body and mesh connected to the filter body. The mesh is positioned relative to the aperture such that the mesh prevents contaminants from entering the pressure relief valve through the aperture.
LIQUID TREATMENT DEVICE
A liquid treatment device is configured to perform at least one treatment from a group of at least two different treatments. The liquid treatment device includes a connector defining an input conduit and an output conduit, a housing defining a closed-off space, and an adapter inside the housing. The adapter is moveable in the housing between at least a first position corresponding with a first liquid treatment and a second position corresponding with a second liquid treatment. A control is disposed outside the housing and connected to the adapter, and is configured to set the adapter from outside of the housing into one of at least the first position and the second position.
