FILTER DEVICE AND FILTRATION DEVICE
A filter element having a substantially cylindrical shape is provided inside a filter case that is provided with a plurality of opening portions in a side surface and has a bottomed substantially cylindrical shape. A fluid flows into a hollow portion of the filter element from an inflow portion provided between a bottom surface of the filter case and the filter element in a height direction. Further, an inner tube provided inside a filtration material having a substantially cylindrical shape includes a first region that is formed with an opening portion substantially on the entire surface and a second region that is not formed with an opening portion. The second region is provided below the first region to include a lower end of the inner tube.
Method and apparatus for filtering fluid in nuclear power generation
A filtering apparatus for a fluid intake of a nuclear power generation facility comprise primary and secondary frames. The primary frame defines an enclosed volume having least one inlet opening, and at least one outlet opening in fluid communication with the fluid intake. A primary filter is supported on the primary frame and covers the inlet opening such that fluid passes into the enclosed volume through the primary filter. The secondary frame is located within the volume enclosed by the primary frame. A secondary filter is supported on the secondary frame and defines an enclosed flow passage in communication with the outlet opening, such that fluid passes into the at least one outlet opening through the secondary filter and the enclosed flow passage.

FILTER DEVICE
When air inside a filter device is purged, filtered liquid can be discharged together with air to the outside of the filter device. A casing is provided inside a tank, a filter element is provided inside the casing, and a lid is provided so as to cover the upper face of the casing and the upper face of the tank. A first through-hole is formed in the substantially center of an upper plate that covers the upper end face of a filtration member of a filter element and is abutted with the lower face of the lid; in a plan view, a second through-hole, in which a first opening being one end is disposed at a position overlapped with the first through-hole, and a second opening being the other end is disposed between the side face of the tank and the side face of the casing, is formed in the lid; and the first through-hole and the second through-hole communicate with the hollow portion of the filtration member and space that is inside the tank and outside the casing.
DECONSTRUCTIBLE COFFEE FILTER SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A filter support structure is provided. This filter support structure includes a multi-sided funnel, which is comprised of a plurality of interconnecting walls where each wall forms one side of the multi-sided funnel. Each wall is connected to two adjoining walls via a latching mechanism. The filter support structure further includes a base support that includes a central opening. The central opening is shaped to correspond to a number of walls that are included in the plurality of walls of the multi-sided funnel. A portion of the multi-sided funnel is fittable within the central opening of the base support.

Partitioned water treatment systems with vertical filtration units
The present invention supplies partitioned water treatment systems that possess a plurality of chambers and vertical filtration units, and are operative to control and filter surface runoff water. Such systems are typically placed inline with surface runoff water conveyance system infrastructure, such as pipes, channels, and water storage units.
PORTABLE FILTERING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
An apparatus includes a separator tank and a filter tank. The separator tank includes an inlet configured to receive liquid, an outlet, and a vertical baffle dividing the separator tank into an inlet section and an outlet section. The filter tank is in fluid communication with the outlet and includes a distribution tray approximately at a top of the filter tank and a horizontal baffle below the distribution tray. The horizontal baffle is spaced vertically from the distribution tray forming a first capacity reservoir. The horizontal baffle is further spaced vertically above a bottom of the filter tank to form a second capacity reservoir.
