Filter Element and Filter Assembly
A filter element is provided with a support frame provided with a first end disk section and a second end disk section. A folded filter medium is connected to the support frame and arranged between the first end disk section and the second end disk section of the support frame. The first end disk section or the second end disk section has a face facing away from the filter medium. The support frame is provided with a fluid guiding channel that guides, when a fluid flow passes through the filter medium, the fluid along the face facing away from the filter medium. A filter assembly with such a filter element and a filter receptacle in which the filter element is exchangeably arranged is provided.
Pleated filtration media having tapered flutes
Pleated filtration media, media packs, filter elements, and methods for filtering fluid are provided which contain three dimensional tapered flutes in the media surface, the flutes configured to improve filter performance. In certain embodiments the flutes have defined peaks that reduce masking between adjacent pleats, the flutes have ridges along their length to modify flute cross sectional geometry, and/or the flutes provide for volume asymmetry across the media.
FILTER DEVICE
When a lid covers an opening portion formed at an upper end of a filter case with a bottomed substantially cylindrical shape inside which a filter element is disposed, the internal space between the lid and the filter case is formed. A bypass flow path connecting the internal space and outside space is formed in the lid, and a relief valve disposed moveably between a position closing the bypass flow path and a position opening the bypass flow path includes an air bleeder formed from a porous material.

RETURN FILTER
A first discharge tube having a substantially cylindrical shape with openings at both ends is inserted through an outflow hole of a filter case and provided protruding toward the bottom surface of the tank. A second discharge tube having a substantially cylindrical shape is provided so as to cover the first discharge tube. The second discharge tube includes a first end that comes into contact with a bottom surface of the filter case, and is provided protruding from the bottom surface of the filter case toward the bottom surface of the tank. A tip end of the second discharge tube is covered by a bottom surface cover, and a plurality of discharge holes are formed in a region near an upper end of a side surface.

Fluid filter apparatus having filter media wound about a winding frame
A filter apparatus and method utilize a filter element having a central winding frame and a length of fluted filter material wound about the frame with the flutes of the media oriented substantially longitudinally, to thereby provide for filtration of a flow of fluid passing axially through the filter element. The winding frame is a substantially open, truss-like structure, having a smooth outer periphery and an axially extending winding feature to facilitate pulling the media into intimate contact with the smooth outer periphery during fabrication of the filter element. A leading edge of the filter media is anchored to a leading edge of the frame by a length of tape.
Backflushing filter and filter insert for the same
A backflush filter for liquid media, having a filter housing formed by supporting cage(s) having at least two groups of apertures, and a filtering means supported on the supporting cage, the apertures of each group extend in parallel and are separated by ribs, and having a backflushing device arranged in the interior of the filter insert, is rotatable and has a slit, the backflushing device for flushing the filtering means via the slit and apertures, the direction of the backflushing device being reversible during the backflush cycle, the backflushing device having at least two separated flushing chambers having a corresponding slit, and also a hollow shaft, capable of limited rotary motion relative to the flushing chambers, which shaft having first and second radial outlets, the direction of the backflushing device being reversible during backflushing, and driving means for movement of the flushing chambers and the hollow shaft, are provided for both directions of motion.
A LIQUID FILTER, AND A LIQUID FILTRATION APPARATUS USING THE LIQUID FILTER
[Subject] To provide a novel liquid filter allowed for cleaning of adhered, foreign matter, and reusable after cleaned up,
[Solving Means] A liquid filter has a liquid-receiving space 3d formed at the center; a plurality of ridge parts 3a vertically juxtaposed so as to be exposed individually to the front, back, left side and right side; and a plurality of valley parts 3b each formed on the sides opposite to the individual positions of formation of the ridge parts 3a the liquid filter can be unfolded from a folded state into a rectangular sheet body 5, and the sheet body 5 in the folded state has its left end and right end overlapped.
