Liquid filter arrangement and methods

A filter cartridge can be used in a filter assembly for a system in an in tank filter for a hydraulic return filter. The filter assembly includes a safety construction to ensure that a cover is not place over the bowl of the filter assembly, without a filter cartridge mounted therein. The safety construction includes a lock arrangement on the cover member arrangement, cooperating with a flange on the tank. Methods of servicing use steps to lock and unlock the lock arrangement.

A fastening flange is arranged at the wall of the flow socket adjacent to the opening, wherein a purging gas pipe of a purging device can be detachably fastened by the fastening flange to the flow socket. The opening in the wall of the flow socket receives the purging gas pipe.

The transfer pipe has first opening near the bottom of the intake chamber, and a second opening near the top of the extract chamber. A pump selectively creates positive and negative pressure within the intake chamber. A vacuum filter apparatus is used to induce the influx of polluted air through a replaceable motor driven filter to remove airborne particulate pollutants. The apparatus comprises a frame with an inlet and outlet. The filter is covering the inlet while a vacuum generator is mounted on a hinged lid that covers the outlet. The filter is stretched over a drive roller and wrapped around a passive roller. The driver roller is connected to a motor through a gear box. The vacuum generator includes at least one blower that induces negative pressure inside the frame. A controller is used to control the normal operation of apparatus and alarms a user with the need of filter replacement. A lift assembly provides attachment of the apparatus to any extraneous carrier, thus, achieving substantial cleaning of polluted air right at fire/demolition sources when deployed in air by drones, lifts, etc.

The integrated composite filter includes: a shell defining a chamber therein, and defining a raw water inlet, a pretreated water outlet, a pretreated water inlet, a pure water outlet and a waste water outlet which are in communication with the chamber respectively; a pretreating filtering element disposed within the chamber; a filtering membrane disposed within the chamber. The pretreating filtering element and the filtering membrane are sequentially positioned between the raw water inlet and the pure water outlet as well as the waste water outlet, and the pretreating filtering element is positioned between the raw water inlet and the pretreated water outlet, and the filtering membrane is positioned between the pretreated water inlet and the pure water outlet as well as the waste water outlet.
