Filter valve assembly

A filter assembly includes a manifold having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a filter housing having a filter medium provided therein, the filter medium defining an inner filter chamber and defining an outer filter chamber between the filter medium and the filter housing, the filter housing being removably attached to the manifold. The filter assembly includes a valve assembly mounted inside the manifold, and a by-pass channel defined inside the manifold between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The valve assembly includes a valve body, a by-pass valve system, and a shut off valve system. The by-pass valve system includes a by-pass valve piston having a piston body, and a by-pass valve spring arranged to move the by-pass valve piston. The shut off valve system includes a shut off valve piston, and a shut off valve spring arranged to move the shut off valve piston.

Fluid filter device and process

A fluid filter device and method are disclosed. The fluid filter device includes a first disk having an opening forming an inlet and a second disk having an opening forming an outlet. A cylindrically shaped soft housing is disposed adjacent the first disk at one end and engaging with the second disk at its other end. A first cylindrical shaped permeable bag filter is encased by the soft housing. The bag filter has a closed end disposed adjacent the outlet, and the bag filter has an open end coupling with the first disk to form a seal around the inlet such that liquid entering the inlet permeates through the bag filter to a region between the bag filter and the soft housing before exiting the outlet.

Aqueous slurry which includes solid foreign matter and paper dust is pressed by means of a screw press, provided with a mesh having openings not less than 1.5 mm and not greater than 3 mm, to separate the aqueous slurry into the solid foreign matter and the paper dust, and liquid component passing through the mesh. Then, the liquid component is sieved by means of a sieve having openings not greater than 1 mm to separate from the liquid component the solid foreign matter and the paper dust.

MULTI-FUNCTION POOL SKIMMER WATER TREATMENT METHOD
20230250661 · 2023-08-10 · ·

A water treatment insert for a pool skimmer system includes a chemical treatment portion separated from a mechanical filtration portion. The treatment device includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper section can include a vertical wall or walls, which should be substantially watertight so that substantially all the water entering the pool skimmer flows through the upper portion, and then into the lower section. The entire device is preferably received in the filter basket receiving section of a conventional pool skimmer, in place of the conventional filter basket. One of the upper and lower sections provides mechanical filtration and the other chemical treatment, to enhance the water treatment function of the skimmer.

Fuel filter assembly

A fuel filter includes a manifold, a connector element, a filter bowl, a filter element, an inlet shutoff valve, an outlet shutoff valve, an inlet port, an inlet passage, an outlet port, an outlet passage and a relief valve in which the connector element is fixed to the manifold, and the filter bowl is reversibly fixed to the connector element, the connector element and the manifold define a chamber and the chamber is split into a second inlet chamber and a second outlet chamber by the relief valve. The filter bowl is adapted to reversibly receive the filter element and is so configured that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl attached to the connection element, the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber.

METHOD OF FORMING ARTICLES FROM ACRYLONITRILE-BUTADIENE-STYRENE

A method of forming articles from acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, the method comprising: feeding a monomer stream comprising a petrochemical monomer into a reactor; contacting the petrochemical monomer with a polymerization activator within the reactor to produce a polymerized stream comprising rubber, latex, or a combination thereof and withdrawing the polymerized stream from the reactor; passing the polymerized stream through a filter to produce a filtered product stream, wherein the filter is a continuously self-cleaning filter; passing the filtered product stream through a grafting unit comprising acrylonitrile and styrene to produce acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene; and forming an article from the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, wherein the article is an extruded sheet, a molded part, or a combination thereof.
