BACKFLUSH FILTER ASSEMBLY
A filter element includes an inner filter basket including an elongated tubular portion having a first open end and a first closed end. The tubular portion defines a plurality of perforations therethrough. An outer surface of the tubular portion is seamless. A first annular brim extends outwardly from the open end of the tubular portion. The filter element also includes an outer filter basket having a second open end in which the inner filter basket is received. A second annular brim extends outwardly from the second open end of the outer filter basket. The fabric filter bag is disposed between the inner filter basket and the outer filter basket.
AGRICULTURAL SAMPLING SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the as collected condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (e.g., mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The preparation sub-system may comprise a slurry recirculation flow loop configured with devices to stir, measure, and adjust a water to solids ratio of the slurry.
Filtration system and method
Method and apparatus are provided for treating and removing particulate matter from fluid or treating and removing fluid from a recoverable particulate matter from fluid circulating into, through and out of an industrial operation, and for washing a disposable cartridge filter used therein. The influent fluid is maintained at a flow rate such that the differential pressure across the cartridge filter is no greater than 10 psi to prevent the buildup of non-porous filter cake. A pressure detecting mechanism and method is also provided to detect the amount of deposited particulate matter inside the cartridge filter, so that an operator can determine whether the cartridge filter should be taken out to remove or recycle the deposited particulate matter.
MODULAR BACKWASH ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR USING THE SAME
A modular backwash assembly and method for using the same is disclosed, the modular backwash assembly comprises a filter brick body, an ultrasonic generator and an ultrasonic connecting component, the filter brick body is provided at an upper portion with a square trench and a cover, the square trench is provided with a plurality of stiffeners and fillers, and a conductive channel is provided on the periphery of the square trench and is provided with an ultrasonic conductive medium therein. The invention has the advantages of firm structure and durable, the gas distribution uniformity may be increased up to 96% and the turbidity average is below the specification 10 NTU.
METAL FILTER HAVING NO CLOGGING AND PERMANENT FILTER ASSEMBLY CONTAINING METAL FILTER
The present invention relates to: an improved metal filter having a plurality of apertures which are micropores having a taper shape by which the diameters thereof become narrower from an upstream end towards a downstream end in a state where the directions of the apertures are perpendicular to, or are at an acute angle with respect to the flowing direction of a fluid containing solid foreign substances; and a permanent filter assembly having a filtering pipe connected, in the form of a pitot tube, part-way along a flow pipe in which the fluid containing foreign substances flows, and having the improved metal filter communicatably mounted on the upstream end of the filtering pipe.
FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention discloses a method for self-cleaning filters without having to open the filter housing. Wash nozzles are integrated with the filter housings such that when the filters are clogged, both back-wash and regular washing can be performed with practically no down time. Moreover, without opening the filter housing, the hazardous components of the fluid to be filtered can be contained and dealt with before they escape the filter housing, thereby significantly reduces the environmental impact and harm to the working crew.
MILKING DEVICE PROVIDED WITH A MILK FILTER
An automatically cleanable milk filter includes a cylindrical housing with an outer wall, a first end with a first liquid connection, and above a second end with a second liquid connection. A concentric cylindrical filter part and a cylindrical core placed concentrically within the filter part are accommodated in the housing. The filter part includes wire having a tapered cross-sectional profile in a spiral shape or as a series of parallel rings or rods, and a frame for keeping them spaced apart, thereby forming a plurality of filter openings. The filter part divides the filter volume into a first volume part which is directly connected to the first liquid connection, and a second volume part which is directly connected to the second liquid connection. The second volume part includes a cylindrical part, as well as a top part which narrows at a transition to the second liquid connection.
WATER DISINFECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Disclosed herein a method and an apparatus for disinfecting water. The method comprises pumping the water into a top disinfection section comprising a water distributing tray and a first filtration system, filtering a first set of particles from the water, discharging particles from the first set of particles to a sewage from a bottom of a respective filter box of the plurality of filter boxes by pumping a high-pressure stream of water to a back side of the respective strainer, generating filtered water by filtering a second set of particles from the water by passing the water through a bottom disinfection section, the bottom disinfection section comprising a plurality of filtering layers, removing the second set of particles settled in the bottom disinfection section utilizing a vacuum-cleaning system, and reducing microorganisms and ammonia gases in the filtered water by aerating the filtered water comprising exposing the filtered water to a high-pressure stream of air utilizing a plurality of fans.
Directed hydroburst system for cleaning flat screens
A screen intake system has a body with an open end and a chamber. A flat screen is disposed at the open end of the body. To keep the screen clear of debris, an airburst system has pipes disposed in the chamber. The pipes dispose parallel to one another adjacent the flat screen, and each of the pipes has orifices in a side facing the flat screen. Directors are disposed along the backs of the pipes in a lattice, and each of the directors has a channel in which the pipe disposes. Compressed air released by valves from a tank dispersed from the pipe's orifices. Each of the directors directs the resulting water/airburst from the orifices toward the adjacent flat screen to clear it of debris.
