The invention is related to a method and vibratory apparatus for the improved solid-liquid filtration of filter cakes, especially for dewatering finely divided thixotropic filter cakes, with the aid of a vibratory apparatus. Further, the invention relates to a filtration apparatus having a vibratory apparatus as described herein, and to the use of the vibratory apparatus for the solid-liquid filtration of filter cakes.
Device and method for separating substances of different flowability that are mixed together
An apparatus for separating mixed together substances of different flowability has a frame structure and a hollow drum with a perforated circumferential surface driven in a revolving manner and mounted on the frame structure. A pressing element lies externally in the region of the circumferential surface of the drum and is driven in a revolving manner, such that the drum and the pressing element form a product intake wedge for the feeding in a product stream, of material to be pressed. The drum and pressing element also form a pressing region. A discharge element is associated with the pressing element downstream of the pressing region in the product stream conveying direction, for discharging residues that remain on the pressing element after pressing. The discharge element is an actively drivable, endless discharge belt for discharging the residues in a discharge direction. A corresponding method is also provided.
SOLID-LIQUID SEPARATOR
A solid-liquid separator for separating a solid phase from a liquid phase in a solid-liquid mixture is provided. The solid-liquid separator includes a basket and filter assembly housed coaxially within a tank such that when the basket and filter assembly rotates the liquid phase moves through the filter of the basket and filter assembly into the tank and is discharged from the solid-liquid separator. The solid phase is retained on the filter of the basket and filter assembly and travels vertically up the filter of the basket and filter assembly where it is discharged from the solid-liquid separator.
Brine filtering device, applied to a meat product injection machine
The brine filtering device includes a pre-filtering unit having first and second pre-filtration drums arranged to rotate coaxially about a horizontal axis and a safety filtering unit having a safety filter sleeve submerged in a tank and connected to an outlet. The first and second pre-filtration drums have their lower regions submerged in brine contained in a tub. An inlet hopper receives brine to be filtered and forces it into the first pre-filtration drum through an upper region of its filtering wall. Brine exits a lower region of the first pre-filtration drum and is collected in the tub. Brine enters into the second pre-filtration drum through a lower region of its filtering wall. Brine is poured into tank through an open side wall of the second pre-filtration drum.
Method for removing the precoat layer of a rotary filter
A method associated for treating a precoat on a rotating filtering surface of lime sludge filter including: accumulating a precoat of lime sludge on the filtering surface by rotating the filtering surface in a first direction through a lime sludge slurry; after accumulating the precoat, rotating the filtering surface in an opposite direction to the first direction; while rotating the filtering surface in the opposite direction, spraying a liquid onto the precoat on the filtering surface wherein the spraying is applied to the precoat above a scraper adjacent the filtering surface and the spraying removes at least a portion of the precoat from the filtering surface, and flowing the removed precoat over the scraper and into a basin.
CONTINUOUS FRYING DEVICE
A continuous frying device is for carrying out a frying process for food products. The device includes a frying oil reservoir which can be filled with a volume of frying oil; a food product carrier which can at least partially be immersed in the frying oil in the frying oil reservoir and at least one heating unit having at least one heating element which is positioned at least partially inside the frying oil reservoir and which has a heating surface which is in contact with the frying oil in the frying oil reservoir during the frying process. The filter chain has a first filter inside the frying oil reservoir and an external filter chain. In operation a volume of at least three times the volume of frying oil contained in the frying oil reservoir passes through the external filter chain per hour.
MICROPLASTIC FILTERING SYSTEM FOR A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE, IN PARTICULAR A WASHING MACHINE, SUCH AS A LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE, SAID SYSTEM BEING PROVIDED WITH A DRAINING PUMP
The system (10) comprises a casing (12) internally defining a cavity (14) and comprising, in turn, an inlet (16) configured to receive a fluid that contains microplastics and leading into the cavity (14), and an outlet (18) configured to deliver the fluid contained in the cavity (14), from which the microplastics have been substantially removed. A filtering assembly (100) contained in the cavity (14) is configured to be crossed by the fluid entering the casing (12) through the inlet (16) and exiting through the outlet (18), thus internally trapping the microplastics. A compacting assembly (200) is situated in the cavity (14) and configured for collecting and compacting the microplastics trapped by the filtering assembly (100). A driving assembly (300) is configured to drive the compacting assembly (200). A storing container (20) is housed in a storing chamber (14c) defined by the cavity (14) and facing towards the compacting assembly (200), and is configured to store the microplastics collected and compacted by the compacting assembly (200). A draining pump (400) is configured for taking in the liquid contained in the storing chamber (14c) and pushing the liquid out of the casing (12).
A MICROPARTICLE FILTER, A TEXTILE TREATMENT APPARATUS, USE THEREOF AND A METHOD OF FILTERING MICROPARTICLES
A microparticle filter, textile treatment apparatus, use and method is disclosed. The microparticle filter comprises i) a filter chamber, the filter chamber comprising: an inlet for supplying effluent into the filter chamber and an outlet for filtered effluent to leave the filter chamber; a first set of chamber walls and a second set of chamber walls, wherein the first set of chamber walls and the second set of chamber walls in a first configuration are sealed together so that effluent cannot pass between the first set of chamber walls and the second set of chamber walls, and wherein the first set of chamber walls and the second set of chamber walls in a second configuration provide an opening; ii) a filter cage contained within the filter chamber, wherein the filter cage comprises one or more than one filter medium, the filter medium to filter microparticles from the effluent, and wherein the filter cage is rotatable around an axis, and wherein the filter cage defines an interior volume, and wherein the inlet is arranged to provide effluent to the interior volume of the filter cage and the outlet is arranged to receive filtered effluent from the filter cage; iii) a transfer member rotatable around the axis; iv) an actuator connected to the first set of chamber walls, and one of the filter cage or the transfer member and operable to move between the first configuration and the second configuration; v) a drive unit arranged to rotate the transfer member in at least the second configuration; wherein in the first configuration, the transfer member is located in the interior volume of the filter cage; and wherein in a second configuration, the transfer member is removed from the interior volume of the filter cage along the axis and the transfer member is rotatable to throw transferred filter residue off the transfer member through the opening, and wherein the transfer member comprises a filter residue collector to remove filter residue from the filter medium when the filter is changed from the first configuration from the second configuration.
