Filtration device
A first plate of a filter element includes a first tubular portion having a substantially cylindrical shape that protrudes toward a lid member with the filter element inserted into a filter case. The first tubular portion includes first projections protruding outward in a radial direction. The lid member includes a second tubular portion inserted into a hollow portion of the first tubular portion. With the lid member attached to the first plate, the first projections are inserted into notches formed in ribs provided along an outer circumferential surface of the first tubular portion.
WATER CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
Portable water conditioning systems include a water conditioner having a plurality of conditioning stages including, in a direction of flow of the water through the water conditioner, a reverse osmosis stage having a reverse osmosis membrane, and a deionizing stage. A first sensor is configured to detect a first condition of the water before the reverse osmosis stage and a second sensor configured to detect a second condition of the water after the reverse osmosis stage. The conditions each include (i) a level of total dissolved solids of the water and (ii) temperature of the water. A controller is in communication with the sensors and configured to determine of a percent of dissolved solids that are rejected by the reverse osmosis membrane based on the conditions when backpressure on the reverse osmosis stage is at a known state.
Cooling device for power source for ship propulsion device
The cooling device for a power source for a ship propulsion device that pumps up cooling water, from which foreign matters with sizes that cause clogging of a cooling water route have been removed, supplies the cooling water to a cooling water passage (30), and discharges the cooling water to outside after cooling a power source (10) includes: a filtration device (40, 40A, 40B) provided in the cooling water route to filtrate foreign matters remaining in the cooling water, and the filtration device is of a cartridge type that incorporates a filter (45, 72) for filtration disposed in a main water passage (P1) and a valve member (46, 66) configured to open and close a bypass water passage (P2) and that is configured such that in a case in which clogging occurs in the filter, the valve member opens to cause the cooling water to flow via the bypass water passage.
FILTER KEY FOR FOUNTAIN ACCESS DOOR
A liquid dispenser station includes a liquid dispenser configured to dispense liquid that passes through a filter. The filter is disposed within the liquid dispenser station. The liquid dispenser has an access door to provide access to the filter. The filter includes a key to open the access door.
AUTOMATIC SAND FILTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER
A system includes a sand filter disposed within a tank. A pipe connected to the tank is configured to flow fluid in or out of the tank. The system includes a valve configured to selectively allow fluid to flow through the pipe and a flowmeter configured to measure a flow rate of fluid through the pipe. An automatic control unit includes one or more processors and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by the one or more processors to perform operations including determining a debris accumulation status for the sand filter based in part on flow measurements from the flowmeter, and determining a failure status of the valve based in part on flow measurements from the flowmeter.
AUTOMATIC SAND FILTER BACKWASH CONTROLLER
A sand filter controller for monitoring and controlling an operation of a sand filter is provided. The sand filter controller includes a microcontroller that receives information about an operation of the sand filter from sensors installed in the sand filter, electrical relays that control air operated valves (AOVs) of the sand filter based on signals from the microcontroller, a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen connected to the microcontroller and that displays the operation of the sand filter, a position of each of the electrical relays, and a position of each of the AOVs, and a power supply that powers the microcontroller, the electrical relays, and the LCD screen. The sand filter is a single-housing-multi-stage water treatment sand filter.
SEPTIC TANK AUTOMATIC EFFLUENT FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM
The invention includes an automatic effluent filter cleaning system that prevents sewage backups. The system includes an outlet baffle with filter, spray assembly, inlet and outlet flappers, pump, and strainers. The spray assembly actuates the baffles to control effluent flow prior, during, and after the cleaning process. During a high-water level condition, the pump engages and pumps effluent water from the septic tank to close the inlet flapper to prevent additional effluent water from entering the outlet baffle. Similarly, effluent water is pumped to close the outlet flapper to prevent effluent water from leaving the baffle. Spray outlets spray effluent water to remove debris from the filter. An outer chamber receives and channels the debris to strainers, which retain the removed debris while allowing the effluent water to return to the septic tank. Once the water level recedes to a safe level, the flappers are opened, and operation resumes.
CHEMICAL SOLUTION SUPPLY SYSTEM AND CHEMICAL SOLUTION SUPPLY METHOD
According to one embodiment, there is provided a chemical solution supply system including: a tank configured to store a chemical solution; a first pipe connected to the tank and configured to provide the chemical solution; a first filter unit connected to the first pipe and having a first filter configured to filter the chemical solution; a second pipe connected to the first filter unit and configured to provide the chemical solution filtered by the first filter; and a detector connected to the first pipe and configured to detect foreign matter in the chemical solution in the first pipe.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FUEL FILTER MONITORING
A fuel filter monitoring method includes receiving pressure signals that are indicative of a pressure drop across at least one fuel filter of a fuel supply system configured to supply fuel to at least one fuel injector of an internal combustion engine and receiving a condition signal indicative of a condition of a fuel supply system, the condition signal being generated by one or more of a geographic location sensor, an altitude sensor, and/or a fuel temperature sensor. The method includes estimating a remaining life of at least one fuel filter of the fuel supply system based on the pressure signal and the condition signal and outputting a notification indicative of the estimated remaining life.
Security system for fluid filtration device
A security system for a fluid filtration device and, more particularly, a security system that is adapted to pair a filter with a fluid filtration device, log an effectiveness of each individually serialized filter, prevent re-usage of a filter in more than one filtration device and prevent usage of a filter for greater than its preprogrammed lifespan.
