FLUID PURIFICATION DEVICE
A device and system for purifying a fluid is provided. The system includes a tank having an interior space and a media container disposed within the interior space. A valve is provided that cooperates with an element within the interior, the valve being movable between an open and a closed position. The valve being biased to the open position when the element is not positioned within the interior space, wherein the interior space is fluidly coupled to the atmosphere in the open position. The valve further being configured to move to a closed position when the element is positioned within the interior space.
Filtering Shower Assembly System
A system includes an assembly with a filter, a pipe and a connector. The filter includes a housing and a cartridge situated within the housing. The pipe feeds water to a water dispersing arrangement via an inlet pipe channel extending therethrough from upstream to downstream ends. The connector includes a spout having a spout outlet channel couplable to an upstream portion of the inlet pipe channel and a spout inlet channel couplable to a downstream portion of the inlet pipe channel. The filter is attachable to the pipe via the connector. When the assembly is in Active configuration, water from the upstream portion passes through the spout outlet channel, the cartridge, the spout inlet channel and into the downstream portion. When the assembly is in Bypass configuration, water from the upstream portion passes into a bypass channel to exit the assembly without passing through the cartridge.
Shower System with a Filter
A system includes a filter assembly with a filter and an inlet pipe. The filter includes a connector, a housing couplable to the connector, and a filter cartridge within the housing. The connector includes a spout with inlet/outlet channels. The pipe feeds water to a dispersing arrangement via an inlet pipe channel extending therethrough from upstream to downstream ends. An upstream portion of the inlet pipe channel is coupled to the inlet channel and a downstream portion of the inlet pipe channel is coupled to the outlet channel. The assembly is movable between Active configuration (the inlet/outlet channels are open so that water from the upstream portion passes through the inlet channel into the cartridge and through the outlet channel into the downstream portion) and Bypass configuration (the inlet/outlet channels are closed so that water passes through a bypass channel to exit the assembly without passing through the cartridge).
Accessory Filtration System for Swimming Pools
An accessory pool filter system prevents larger debris from entering the pool's primary filter and potentially interfering with its operation. The system includes a bucket-shaped body with an inlet near the top, a straining basket inside, and an outlet near the bottom. The inlet is connected to an intake hose, and the outlet is connected to an outlet hose, which in turn connects to the pool's main filtration system. The apparatus uses the suction created by the pool filtration system's pump to draw water through the intake hose and pass it through the strainer before it continues on through the inlet to the pool's main filtration system. As the water passes through the system, larger debris is trapped in the basket, thereby preventing it from clogging up the lines of the pool's main filtration system.
Filter apparatus and method
The present disclosure relates to a filter apparatus (1) for mechanically filtering a liquid (W). The filter apparatus (1) includes a filter chamber (5) for containing a plurality of filter elements (7) that form a filter pack (29) for filtering the liquid. The filter chamber (5) has a liquid inlet (12) and a liquid outlet (14). The filter apparatus (1) includes means for introducing air into the filter chamber (5) through one or more air inlets (25) to agitate the filter elements (7). The filter chamber (5) is substantially sealed and the air introducing means (22) may be configured to draw air into the filter chamber (5) as liquid is drained from said filter chamber (5). In certain embodiments, the filter chamber (5) may have a substantially constant profile or a substantially continuously tapered profile along its longitudinal axis (X-X). The present disclosure also relates to methods of filtering a liquid (W).
WATER PURIFIER AND FLOW RATE CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
A water purifier according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a filtering unit for producing purified water by filtering influent water; a TDS measuring unit for measuring the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water flowing into the filtering unit; a purified water passage through which the purified water is discharged; a concentrated water passage through which concentrated water, filtered by the filtering unit, is discharged; a concentrated water flow control valve for controlling the flow rate of the concentrated water discharged through the concentrated water passage; and a control unit for adjusting the degree of opening and closing of the concentrated water control valve, on the basis of the TDS and the pressure of the water flowing into the filtering unit.
A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VAPOUR COMPRESSION SYSTEM DURING GAS BYPASS VALVE MALFUNCTION
A method for controlling a vapour compression system (1) is disclosed. Malfunctioning of a gas bypass valve (8) is registered. An actual opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8) is derived, and a target opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8) is derived, based on one or more control parameters of the vapour compression system (1). The actual opening degree is compared to the target opening degree, and the vapour compression system (1) is controlled based on the comparison, and in order to match a mass flow of gaseous refrigerant through the gas bypass valve (8) to the actual opening degree of the gas bypass valve (8).
Fluid filter cartridge, fluid filter arrangement, and method for servicing a fluid filter arrangement
A fluid filter cartridge has a first filter element and a second filter element. The first and second filter elements are arranged consecutively along a longitudinal extension of the fluid filter cartridge. The first filter element has two opposite end faces, one of the end faces being covered by a connection end cap and the other end face being covered by a first end cap. The second filter element has an end face being covered by the connection end cap and another end face covered by a second end cap. At least one port is at the connection end cap in fluid communication with at least one of the first filter element and second filter element. A central axis of the connection end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the connection end cap is offset in relation to a central axis of the first end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the first end cap and/or a central axis of the second end cap orthogonal to a main extension plane of the second end cap.
WATER FILTRATION APPARATUS WITH IMPROVED FILTER CARTRIDGE HOUSING AND DISTRIBUTOR
An improved cartridge housing assembly and distributor is provided for a water filtration system installed at a point-of-use or a point-of entry of plumbing networks in buildings. The improvements include a mechanism for actuating a shut-off valve and a pressure-relief valve upon removing the housing assembly from the distributor, a bayonet-type mount between the housing assembly and the distributor, a housing lid to prevent spilling of water when the housing assembly is removed from the distributor, and fastener clips that allow for modular attachment of the distributor to plumbing fittings and a mounting bracket.
