WATER FILTER AND WATER FILTRATION APPARATUS
The disclosure relates to devices and systems for configurable, contaminat-specific water filtration and treatment. In particular, the disclosure relates to a contaminant-specific configurable and modular horizontal water filter and a water filtration system, comprising modular housings, each housing defining a plurality of reconfigurable compartments operable to accommodate contaminant-specific filtering units.
Systems and methods for purifying natural water for recreational swimming with modular filtration units
Systems and methods for filtering unpurified water using modular filtration units are disclosed. According some embodiments of the invention the modular filtration unit may include a modular removable filtration cartridge with pressed non-woven geotextile fabrics and a frame assembly, and a filtration container. The filtration container holds the modular removable filtration cartridges and has walls that form a basin. A first wall has an inlet for receiving water into the filtration container and a second wall has an outlet for draining water out of the filtration container. The water is filtered by the modular removable filtration cartridges as it flows across the basin from the inlet to the outlet. The modular filtration units may be combined together to form a zoned filtration assembly, which may be inserted into the hull of a floating swimming pool. The zoned filtration assemblies may filter natural water as it fills the swimming pool.
Cartridge accumulator
A filter manifold is provided for processing fluid being provided to a fluid dispenser, featuring a new and unique combination of a mounting bracket, a filter cartridge and an accumulator cartridge. The mounting bracket is configured with porting connections. The filter cartridge may include a filter cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to filter the fluid being provided to the fluid dispenser. The accumulator cartridge includes an accumulator cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into another one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to receive, accumulate and provide the fluid to the filter cartridge to be filtered before being provided to the fluid dispenser.
Pipeline filter
A pipeline filter assembly comprising a base assembly, an outer wall, and a lid assembly. The outer wall has a lower end portion and an upper end portion, wherein the upper end portion comprises a lower collar, and the lower collar comprises at least one lock notch spaced around an exterior surface thereof. The lid assembly is configured to couple to the lower collar of the outer wall. The lid assembly has an upper collar configured to mate with the lower collar. The upper collar has at least one housing that is coupled to the upper collar, and at least one biasing clip pivotally mounted within the housing for releasable engagement with the lock notch. A pair of pipeline filter assemblies, wherein at least one connection plate is used.
Particle Separation System and Method
A method including the steps of providing fluid through an inlet into a vessel at atmospheric pressure. The method further includes passing the fluid through a filtration unit utilizing a downstream pump, the filtration unit creating a flux of less than or equal to about 0.05 gallons per minute per square foot (GPM/ft.sup.2), and moving the fluid processed by the filtration unit through an outlet of the vessel.
Phase separation device
A phase separation device has a device housing (2) accommodating at least one coalescer element (42). The device housing (2) has an inlet (38) for the supply of an emulsion, which flows through the respective coalescer element (42) for separation into at least two of its constituents, has an outlet (46) for a separated constituent, and has a further outlet (22, 64) for a further separated constituent having a lower density than the one constituent and floating on the separated constituent having a higher density.
Systems and methods for forming modular filtration assemblies
A variable configuration modular fluid filter assembly includes one or more discrete filter housing assemblies that each include a mount body constructed to support a cap and a filter sleeve. A plurality of bosses are formed on radially outward facing sides of the mount body and are each discretely selectable to fluidly connect the discrete mount body to one another to provide a desired flow characteristic of the discrete filter assembly arrangement. Preferably, each discrete filter assembly includes a seal arrangement disposed between the cap and the mount body and which orients the sealing interface therebetween at an acute angle relative to an axis of rotation of the cap relative to the mount body when the cap and mount body are engaged with one another.
The lid assembly has an upper collar configured to threadedly mate with the lower collar. The upper collar has at least one housing that projects from the upper collar, the housing having an interior surface, and at least one biasing clip pivotally mounted within the housing for releasable engagement with the lock notch. A pair of pipeline filter assemblies, wherein at least one connection plate is used.
Modular filtration system and method
A system for further filtering a liquid extract material after an initial extraction process. In an embodiment, the system includes a semi-rigid filter cup that is substantially cylindrical, the filter cup having a top and a bottom, wherein the top is oriented to receive filter media prior to a filtration process, and material to be filtered during the filtration process. The filter cup includes an integrated deformable flange at the top of the filter cup, an integrated top o-ring that is integrated into the top of the integrated deformable flange and an integrated bottom o-ring that is integrated into the bottom of the integrated deformable flange.
Disposable filtration device
A disposable filtration device includes a plurality of disposable filter capsules connected with each other by lines, which are carried by a rigid holder. At least the holder and the lines between the filter capsules preferably are formed of a sterilizable material, so that the filtration device can be sterilized in the pre-mounted, i.e. ready-to-connect condition, and can be packed and transported without a risk of damage.
