SWRO AND MCDI COUPLED SEAWATER DESALINATION DEVICE SYSTEM WITH ENERGY RECOVERY

The present invention discloses an SWRO and MCDI coupled seawater desalination device system with energy recovery, including a pre-filtering unit, an SWRO treatment unit, an MCDI treatment unit, and a post-filtering unit. The SWRO treatment unit is coupled with the MCDI treatment unit. Seawater desalination is performed through a coupling complementary water passage and circuit design, while water quality is improved, and the continuity of water output from a water passage of the device is kept. By recovering the pressure potential energy of high-pressure brine in the SWRO treatment unit and electric energy released by desorption in the MCDI treatment unit, energy consumption is reduced.

In situ rejuvenation of contaminated mechanical filtration medium

An in situ system of filter rejuvenation can be applied to a mechanical filter passing fluid contaminated by chemical and particulate materials such that the filter removes the contaminants from the flow by trapping the contaminants in a filter medium. A non-combustive infrared heating system gasifies the trapped contaminants without combustion and without emissions to the atmosphere, restoring the efficacy of the filtration medium.

GAS DETECTION AND PURIFICATION DEVICE

A gas detection and purification device can be placed in an in-car space and includes a housing, a purification module, a gas-guiding unit, and a gas detection module. The housing has a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A gas channel is between the gas inlet and the gas outlet. The purification module is disposed in the gas channel to filter the gas guided into the gas channel. The gas-guiding unit is disposed in the gas channel and at one side of the purification module. The gas-guiding unit guides the gas into the device from the gas inlet, guides the gas to pass through the purification module for performing filtering and purifying, and discharges the gas out from the gas outlet. The gas detection module is disposed in the gas channel to detect the gas guided into the housing to obtain gas detection data.

GAS DETECTOR

A gas detection unit is accommodated within a housing of a gas sensor and the outside atmosphere of the housing is introduced through the filter to the gas detection unit. The filter comprises an organic polymer gas-permeable filter removing siloxanes and an inorganic filter removing alcohols and passing gases to be detected.

Systems and methods to control colonization, amplification and/or growth of waterborne aerobic heterotrophic bacteria within potable water plumbing of a premises are provided, the premises having potable water plumbing having at least one point of use within the premises, the potable water plumbing being adapted to receive a potable water supply from a municipal water source. The systems and methods to control colonization, amplification, and/or growth of waterborne aerobic heterotrophic bacteria within cooling towers and evaporative condensers, recirculates system water through a deoxygenation device to reduce dissolved oxygen levels and prevent bacterial respiration within the heat exchanger and pressurized lines.

Air filters with functionalized nanotube compositions to control pathogens such as SARS CoV-2 (coronavirus)

Nanotube compositions may be employed in many different forms alone, and/or with surfactants, with antiviral metals, with antigens, and/or with various drugs to control pathogens like viruses e.g., SARS COVID-2, bacteria, mold, fungi, chemical or biological agents etc in masks or other personal protection equipment. The personal protection equipment such as masks reduce, control, absorb, deactivate, detoxify, and/or kill the pathogens such that a pathogen or pathogens deleterious effects are reduced and/or eliminated to a user of the mask.
