Diesel Particulate Filtration (DPF) System
A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) assembly configured to be incorporated in the exhaust gas stream, the DPF assembly comprising: Quartz/Composite ceramic mixture disposed as filter elements, mechanical support components and optional electrical soot removal solutions including electrical, di-electrical and microwave solutions.
Personal Air Management Methods and Systems for Reducing or Blocking Exposure to Airborne Pathogens
The present specification, in some embodiments, describes a personal wear device that direct the flow of air away from a person's face, reducing or blocking the flow of infectious pathogens towards a patient's naso-oral area thus reducing the risk of inhalation of infectious or noxious pathogens. In another embodiment, the present specification describes a personal air management mask system for use by a patient for reducing or preventing exposure to and inhalation of infected aerosol during a medical procedure.
SEALING ELEMENT
A sealing element (5) for a filter element (2) in a housing body (1) of a filtration system, preferably in a cross-flow filtration system. The sealing element (5) is one piece and is annular in shape and comprises one section for sealingly arranging the filter element (2) in the housing body (1) and one section for impact damping for the filter element (2)
METHODS OF REDUCING THE ENZYMATIC HYDROLYSIS ACTIVITY RATE IN A COMPOSITION OBTAINED FROM A PURIFICATION PLATFORM
The present disclosure provides purification platforms comprising a depth filter step and/or a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) step. Also disclosed herein are methods of using the purification platforms described herein and compositions obtained therefrom, such as pharmaceutical compositions.
PARTICULATE FILTER
A particulate filter includes a base material having a wall-flow structure including porous partition walls partitioning inlet and outlet cells, and wash-coating layers held inside partition walls. The wash-coating layers include inlet layers each formed from vicinity of an end portion at exhaust gas inflow side to have predetermined length and thickness and outlet layers each formed from vicinity of end portion at exhaust gas outflow side to have a predetermined length and thickness. The inlet and the outlet layers partially overlap with each other. Inlet layers of particulate filter contain substantially no noble metal catalyst, and outlet layers contain noble metal catalyst. Accordingly, PM collection performance can be easily enhanced in inlet region, and high gas distributability (pressure loss suppression performance) can be maintained in outlet region. Accordingly, it is possible to provide particulate filter capable of achieving high levels of PM collection performance and pressure loss suppression performance.
EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION FILTER
An exhaust gas purification filter includes a cell assembly including cells each having a quadrangular cross-sectional shape and a partition wall, seal members, and a skin member. The partition wall has a porosity P1 of 50% to 70%, and the skin member has a porosity P2 of 50% to 70%, the porosity P1 and the porosity P2 satisfy a relationship P1<P2. A difference between the porosity P2 and the porosity P1 is 20% or less. The partition wall includes crossing portions, each cell has at least one part of an outer periphery defined by a corresponding one of the crossing portions, the at least one part is rounded to have a radius of curvature R, each cell has a radius r of a hydraulic diameter, the radius of curvature R and the radius r of the hydraulic diameter satisfy a relationship 0.2<R [mm]/r [mm]<1.
Ceramic filter
A ceramic filter having a pillar-shaped honeycomb structure, wherein when observing a plurality of pores from a surface of partition walls with a laser microscope and plotting an equivalent circle diameter (μm) of each pore on an X-axis and a pore depth (μm) of each pore on a Y-axis on a two-dimensional coordinate system, a slope of a regression line (y/x) obtained by a least squares method in a range of 20≤x≤40 is 0 to 0.20, an average value of the pore depth of the plurality of pores is 2.5 μm to 5.0 μm, and a number density of the plurality of pores is 600/mm.sup.2 to 2450/mm.sup.2.
Methods for purifying bacterial polysaccharides
The present invention relates to methods for purifying bacterial polysaccharides, in particular for removing impurities from cellular lysates of bacteria producing polysaccharides.
PURIFICATION PLATFORMS FOR OBTAINING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS HAVING A REDUCED HYDROLYTIC ENZYME ACTIVITY RATE
The present disclosure provides purification platforms comprising a depth filter step and/or a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) step and/or a MM-HIC/IEX chromatography step, and are useful for providing a method of reducing a hydrolytic enzyme activity rate of a composition obtained from said purification platforms. Also disclosed herein are methods of using the purification platforms described herein and compositions obtained therefrom, such as pharmaceutical compositions.
Honeycomb structure
A honeycomb structure including a honeycomb portion having porous partition walls extending from an inflow end face to an outflow end face, an outermost peripheral wall, and a pair of electrode layers on a side surface of the honeycomb portion. Each electrode layer extends in a direction of the cells. One electrode layer is disposed on a side opposite to the other electrode layer across a center of the honeycomb portion in a cross section orthogonal to the extending direction of the cells. The honeycomb structure portion includes first cells opened on the inflow side and plugged on the outflow side, and second cells opened on the outflow side and plugged on the inflow side. A middle of each length of the pair of electrode layers is closer to the outflow side than a middle position of a length of the honeycomb portion in the extending direction of the cells.
