REALISTIC BLOCK-GAME EDUCATIONAL DEVICE USING SOUND COMBINATION PRINCIPLES, AND CONTROL METHOD OF SAME
Embodiments provide a realistic block-game educational device using sound combination principles and a control method of the same.
EDUCATIONAL GAME AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A game and a method for making it, according to certain disclosed embodiments, may include a playfield for allowing a rollable device for moving along its surface. Playfield guides may direct the rollable device along a path of travel. Three or more target goals on the playfield may receive the rollable device as its final destination. Decision making devices mounted movably on the playfield may adjust manually selectively the path of travel, and each have an entrance structure and two or more exit structures. Decision making device guides direct the rollable device from the entrances to selected ones of the exits. Wherein the rollable device moves along a selected path of travel including user selected entrances and user selected exits of a series of decision making devices to a user selected target goal.
Multi-Player Crosswords Game
A timed word game played on a game board. Words are formed from a predetermined set of alphabet letter tiles, including wild tiles exchangeable for alphabet letters. The exact same set of tiles (level playing field) is provided to each player playing the DAILY CHALLENGE. Thus, the DAILY CHALLENGE competition is based solely on skill. Each tile has a value of 1, 2 or 3, indicated by color. Words may stand alone or be intersecting. A total score is determined from word cumulative tile value with a deduction for misspelled words. Higher point words receive bonus points. The tile set may have multiple tiles of the same letter, with the same or different values. A total score is displayed at games end, the words made and respective scores may be viewed and/or printed. Top scores for each day's DAILY CHALLENGE are published.
Three dimensional letters word game components and game methods of play
A game apparatus and game methods of play that provide mental exercises to increase the level of abstract thinking to create 3-D objects from universally accepted 2-D flat patterns. Since we read and write on 2-D surfaces, the shapes we associate most with a 2-D environment are alphanumeric characters. Combining letters and numbers in a 3-D environment creates challenging exercises for visualizing 3-D shapes. The competitive games involve a series of 3-D manipulative modules. Play of the games involves scoring points for creating and/or discerning words made up of letters recognized from the 3-D manipulative modules. The games are for multiple players and can also be implemented electronically and online.
Word Game
A word game played among players includes a series of word challenges having at least one round. A first round includes randomly selecting a first and a last letter, each player attempting to generate a valid word that begins with the first letter and ends with the last letter, and awarding points to each player based on a length of the corresponding valid words and a default value per letter of the valid words. A bonus round may include randomly selecting an intermediate letter, each player attempting to generate a valid bonus word that includes the first, last, and intermediate letters, awarding points to each player based at least on a length of the corresponding valid bonus words and a default value per letter of the valid bonus words, and resetting all points awarded in the word challenge for each player that fails to generate a valid bonus word.
Modified chess game with additional game pieces
A chess-like game may include a new piece having powers and limitations not present in conventional chess pieces. The game may include a game board having ten columns and eight rows. The game may further include two sets of game pieces, each set comprising a king, a queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, two additional game pieces (AGP), and ten pawns. An initial setting of the pieces may include random positioning. The game may include restrictions that limit the movement of one or more pieces.
Attachable and Releasable Puzzle Pieces for Attaching to a Baseplate
The disclosed puzzle piece is attachable to, and releasable from, a baseplate where the baseplate includes forwardly extending male studs. The puzzle piece has at least one rear-facing engaging mechanism that is attachable to at least one of the forward-facing male studs carried by the baseplate. The puzzle piece has a particular outer shape defined by the outer shaped wall. The provided baseplate-piece(s) unit may be stored with the puzzle pieces engaged to the baseplate, but the puzzle pieces may be later detached for repeat use.
Education, logic, and puzzle systems, methods, and techniques
New and unique puzzle mechanics, systems, and methods are described herein. A puzzle grid comprising linearly arranged intersecting words, with each individual letter placed on a separate puzzle tile, may be divided into a plurality of puzzle pieces, where each puzzle piece is formed of one or more contiguous puzzle tiles. Each puzzle piece shape conforms to one of a predefined set of shapes. To mix up the puzzle grid, identically shaped puzzle pieces may be randomly shuffled and rotated if required so that the puzzle layout remains unchanged whereas the letters are scrambled. Also puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry may be optionally rotated within the puzzle layout. Letters may maintain upright legibility. A user may then attempt to solve the puzzle by swapping identically shaped puzzle pieces and optionally rotating puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry.
SYLLABIC ROULETTE GAME WITH SOLMIZATION, AND METHOD
A roulette game enables single-spin formation of meaningful character strings, which character strings may be coupled to tones for enhancing the gaming experience. The meaningful character strings may be defined by solfege-enabling letter groups, which letter groups may prompt underlying tones in solmization. The syllabic roulette game comprises a roulette wheel, a wager-enabling layout, and a plurality of balls. The wheel comprises alphabetic characters against a rainbow colored backdrop for enabling various payout schemes. A color-coordinated wager support surface is preferably disposed adjacent the roulette wheel for facilitating wager placement.
Spelling game with a block of character labeled dice
Disclosed is a set of a plurality dice useful for playing a spelling game among multiple players and an exemplary method of playing the game. The plurality of dice is assembleable to form a dice block attractive for packaging. Typically, all of the dice are cube shaped and of the same dimensions. Each die of the set has each of its faces labeled with a character set consisting of one or more letters of the alphabet. The manner of play can be varied by altering the total number of individual dice in the dice set used for play, for example from 125 dice to 100 dice, by adding or removing dice specifically color-coded for that purpose. Thus the manner of play can be adjusted to alter the difficulty of play or the total time of play.
