The present invention relates to a block toy. Provided is a technology in which a block toy includes a finishing block or a control block together with general blocks having their own information so that a user can freely define a completion step, can express completion, and can check configuration information during a process of combining and arranging the blocks, and thus the technology is effective in understanding a structure, a principal and a concept for language or operation learning, the acquisition of knowledge or information, or the like. Furthermore, principal components, such as a memory device, a control device, a speaker, a screen, a power source, a communication module and a recording module, are provided, and thus the configurations of combinations of general blocks can be checked and notification of the configurations can be provided using only a small number of blocks, thereby considerably reducing manufacturing costs.

A word game and method of playing the word game comprising providing a main word or phrase (Theme Word), and a group of existing words (Puzzle Words), wherein each letter from the Theme Word is used once to form a different word (Solved Word) when added to a Puzzle Word. In one example form of the game, multiple letters from the Theme Word may be added to a single Puzzle Word to form a single Solved Word. The letters from the Theme Word may be added anywhere to the Puzzle Word in order to form a new Solved Word. In one example form, the order of the letters in Puzzle Word may not be changed. In another example form of the game, the letter from the Theme Word may not be added to the end of the Puzzle Word. The game will be considered solved when all of the letters of the Theme Word have been successfully combined once with a Puzzle Word such that each letter has been used with a Puzzle Word to form a Solved Word.

A word puzzle having a customizable difficulty is provided. The puzzle has multiple letter pools to which the letters of the alphabet are assigned. The puzzle has multiple answer slots that are arranged along a horizontal line and correspond to the different letters of a desired multi-word solution to the puzzle. The puzzle has indicator icons aligned with the answer slots to indicate from which letter pool the puzzle solver should select the letter to fill that answer slot of the solution. The solution of the puzzle will reveal a passage, adage, saying or saw when the puzzle solver has correctly entered the letters into the answer slots of the puzzle.
