ROTATING FILTERS AND RELATED SYSTEMS
In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus includes a tubular filter and a motor coupled to the tubular filter. The tubular filter includes a plurality of apertures. The motor rotates the tubular filter about an axis while a differential pressure is applied to an interior space of the tubular filter relative to exterior to the tubular filter. A force is applied, related to the rotation of the tubular filter, to particulate matter agglomerated to an exterior surface of the tubular filter such that the particulate matter is removed from the exterior surface.
Air circulator
An air circulator includes an airflow guiding housing and a power assembly. The power assembly is disposed in said airflow guiding housing which sequentially has a purifying chamber and a guiding chamber from bottom to top. The power assembly is operated to drive air to flow into the purifying chamber through an air inlet formed on a bottom peripheral side of the airflow guiding housing radially and deliver along an airflow channel inside the airflow guiding housing. The airflow channel further has an airflow turning portion in the purifying chamber to drive the air in the purifying chamber to turn from a radial direction to and an upward direction to flow into the guiding chamber and discharge out through an air outlet formed on top of the airflow guiding channel upwardly, outwardly and helically.
ANTI-CONTAMINATION BAFFLE FOR COOLING AIR SYSTEMS
An aircraft engine cooling air system is configured to provide cooling air to turbine components. The system has an airflow path extending from a source of cooling air to the turbine components. A baffle is disposed in the airflow path upstream of the turbine components. The baffle has a filtering surface defining a plurality of filtering holes sized to trap particulate matter suspended in the cooling air. A bypass passage is fluidly connected to the source of cooling air and the turbine components in parallel with the baffle so as to allow airflow to the turbine components when the filtering holes of the baffle are clogged.
Pre-Cleaning Air Filter
A filter element including a filter media, an end cap, and a baffle. The filter media is configured to be secured within a housing. The housing includes an inlet configured to accept a fluid for filtering and the filter media including a circumferential outer surface. The end cap is positioned at and coupled to one end of the filter media. The baffle is positioned relative to the filter media at a position such that, when the filter element is correctly installed within the housing, the baffle is proximate the inlet of the housing. The baffle extends around only a portion of the circumferential outer surface of the filter media in a radial direction.

Reservoir for food waste recycling appliance
The disclosure relates to a liquid reservoir for a food waste recycling appliance including a reservoir body with a hollow interior, a first arm portion, and a second arm portion, and at least partially bounding an interstitial space exterior of the reservoir body. A food waste through opening can be defined by an exterior surface of the reservoir body.
Clean-air filtration system and method of operating the clean-air filtration system
A clean-air filtration system has a main pipe with an entry for attaching to an exhaust source and an exit. The main pipe has a plurality of openings for dispersing water within the main pipe. A water source is connected to the main pipe and supplying water to the openings. A particulate interceptor is connected to the main pipe for removing particulates from an exhaust flow. A particulate storage unit is connected to the particulate interceptor.
VENTILATION DEVICE FOR FILTERING AIR AND FOR SEPARATING WATER AEROSOLS FROM AIR
A ventilation device for filtering air and for separating water aerosols from air may include at least one filter element, at least one housing, at least one fan, and at least one flow adapter. The filter element may be secured in the housing such that air is flowable through an inlet opening of the housing to an outlet opening of the housing in a flow direction. The fan may be secured on the outlet opening downstream of the housing in the flow direction. The flow adapter may be secured on the inlet opening upstream of the housing in the flow direction. A coupling frame may be secured in an airtight manner between the housing and the flow adapter. The coupling frame may include a discharge channel arrangement for draining water collected in the at least one filter element.
PULSE JET AIR CLEANER SYSTEMS; EVACUATION VALVE ARRANGEMENTS; AIR CLEANER COMPONENTS; AND, METHODS
Assemblies, features, and techniques for pulse jet air cleaner assemblies and their operation are described. Techniques described include methodology and equipment for preferred pulse jet sequencing and operation.
FILTRATION DEVICE AND USE OF SAID DEVICE FOR SEPARATING AND COLLECTING BRAKE DUST
The filtration device enables the separation and collection of dust and particles produced by the pads of a brake assembly. A first separation unit having an air filtration medium, typically annular, is provided in the housing of the device, in order to define an upstream zone where air is admitted, for example tangentially, and a downstream zone in communication with an outlet of the housing for discharging the purified air. The upstream zone is in communication with a lower stage situated lower down, in which a second separation unit is located in order to separate water from particles that have fallen from the upstream zone. A filtration by the second unit is intended to collect clean water and possibly to discharge this water by gravitational flow. The fallen particles remain trapped inside the device, under the first unit.
