In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a housing for a vacuum filter assembly. The housing may include a top piece with an upper portion defining a top wall of a cavity and a generally circular perimeter forming a side wall of the cavity. The perimeter of the top piece may be configured to receive a filter member. An input aperture may extend through the top piece and may be arranged for communication with the cavity. A spindle may extend into the cavity from the top wall of the cavity such that a material drawn into the cavity by a vacuum force moves in a spiral vortex through the cavity about the spindle.

Secondary Filter Element and Filter Arrangement

A secondary filter element for a filter arrangement is provided with a filter medium and a circumferentially extending sealing device that seals the secondary filter element in respect to a filter receptacle of the filter arrangement. The circumferentially extending sealing device has an oval geometry with a long side and a short side. The circumferentially extending sealing device has an outer surface projecting, in a radial direction of the secondary filter element, farther past the filter medium when viewed along the short side compared to when viewed along the long side. A filter arrangement has a filter receptacle. A main filter element is received in the filter receptacle, and a secondary filter element is received in the main filter element. The circumferentially extending sealing device of the secondary filter element projects in a radial direction of the secondary filter element outwardly past an interior of the main filter element.

FILTER WITH IMPROVED FLUID FLOW

A filter assembly comprises a housing defining an internal volume. The housing defines an outlet. A housing ledge extends radially inwards from a rim of the outlet. An outlet conduit comprises an outlet elbow, and an outlet tube extending axially from the outlet elbow towards the housing. The outlet tube is positioned within the housing. A rib extends radially from an outer surface of the outlet tube proximate to the outlet elbow. The rib engages the housing ledge so as to couple the outlet conduit to the housing. A filter element is also positioned within the housing.

ANTI-CONTAMINATION BAFFLE FOR COOLING AIR SYSTEMS
20210046414 · 2021-02-18 ·

An aircraft engine cooling air system is configured to provide cooling air to turbine components. The system has an airflow path extending from a source of cooling air to the turbine components. A baffle is disposed in the airflow path upstream of the turbine components. The baffle has a filtering surface defining a plurality of filtering holes sized to trap particulate matter suspended in the cooling air. A bypass passage is fluidly connected to the source of cooling air and the turbine components in parallel with the baffle so as to allow airflow to the turbine components when the filtering holes of the baffle are clogged.

Pre-Cleaning Air Filter

A filter element including a filter media, an end cap, and a baffle. The filter media is configured to be secured within a housing. The housing includes an inlet configured to accept a fluid for filtering and the filter media including a circumferential outer surface. The end cap is positioned at and coupled to one end of the filter media. The baffle is positioned relative to the filter media at a position such that, when the filter element is correctly installed within the housing, the baffle is proximate the inlet of the housing. The baffle extends around only a portion of the circumferential outer surface of the filter media in a radial direction.

FILTER DEVICE FOR THE FILTRATION OF GASES CONTAMINATED WITH PARTICLES

1. Filter device for the filtration of gases contaminated with particles.

2. A filter device for the filtration of gases contaminated with particles, such as welding gases, which are in particular produced in manufacturing processes using 3D printers in a production room (52), having a filter circuit having at least one filter element (55, 56), which filters the particles from the gas, wherein at least a part of said particles get from this filter element (55, 56) into an assignable receptacle (59), is characterized in that the particles within a back-flushing process get into the respective receptacle (59), and in that at least one further filter circuit, having at least one further filter element (NF1, NF2), is present, which filters a fluid, which has the particles obtained at the back-flushing process.
