A ventilation device for filtering air and for separating water aerosols from air may include at least one filter element, at least one housing, at least one fan, and at least one flow adapter. The filter element may be secured in the housing such that air is flowable through the housing from an inlet opening of the housing to an outlet opening of the housing in a flow direction. The fan may be secured on the outlet opening downstream of the housing in the flow direction. The flow adapter may be secured on the inlet opening upstream of the housing in the flow direction. A coupling frame may be secured in an airtight manner between the housing and the flow adapter transversely to the flow direction. The filter element may have a circumferential sealing edge that seals the housing around the inlet opening to the coupling frame.

Measuring the amount of circulation and effecting control as follows: (1) When the measured value is between the upper limit value and lower limit value, the rotational speed of the blower fan is maintained, and (2) When the measured value has fallen below the lower limit value due to clogging of a filter, the rotational speed of the fan is increased and the rotational speed is selected at the stage where the measured value has reached the adjusting value, and the rotational speed is maintained.

There is provided an air cleaner including: an outlet pipe through which air is discharged; an airflow meter that is inserted toward an interior of the outlet pipe through a wall of the outlet pipe; and a flow-regulating member that is formed projecting from an inner surface of the outlet pipe at a leading end side of the airflow meter, the flow-regulating member including an edge that is formed with a peaked shape with respect to the inner surface and that runs along a direction of flow of air, a rear end that is formed at a downstream end of the edge in the direction of flow, and that is shaped cut sharply toward the inner surface and a width-narrowing portion that decreases in width in a circumferential direction of the outlet pipe on progression downstream in the direction of flow.
Passenger elevator air purification system
An air supply system in building elevators for the purpose of providing continuous purified and filtered exterior air for the improved safety of elevator cab passengers. The air supply system is separate from that of the building. System components include: an air intake means in the top of the building to receive exterior air; an air filtering and purifying mechanism; an air blower and compressor; air heating and cooling unit; a pressure controlled air plenum; a flexible vertical lightweight traveling tube that continuously carries purified air from the plenum near the top of the building to the cab interior, a flexible vertical lightweight air exhaust traveling tube that continuously carries spent air from the cab interior discharge conduit to the building exterior exhaust, wherein both tubes are affixed to the elevator traveling cable and extend the height of the building.
