FILTER UNIT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The filter unit includes a filter section having a first filter and a second filter being of a pleated shape, and a frame having a pair of first frames and a pair of second frames having an adhesive layer. The filter unit is manufactured by stacking the first filter on the second filter, arranging a first support member opposite to the first frame with respect to a first fixed portion, arranging a second support member for supporting the second fixed portion opposite to the first frame with respect to the second fixed portion, fixing the first frame to the first fixed portion and the second fixed portion, and fixing the first frame to the second frame.
TRACK AND FASTENER ASSEMBLY, KIT AND METHOD FOR SECURING A FILTER SCREEN OR COVERING TO AN AIR INTAKE FACE
A kit and assembly for securing any filter, screen or covering to a perimeter intake face surrounding an opening. The kit and assembly includes a series of tracks adapted to mount against the intake face in surrounding fashion around the opening. A plurality of fasteners are slidably installed upon each of the tracks prior to inter-assembly. The tracks further include opposite exterior rail locations which oppose tabs configured into interior facing locations of the fasteners so that the fasteners are adjustable along the tracks. The filter, screen or covering further includes a plurality of perimeter spaced apertures for securing to engaging portions of the fasteners and in order to mount the filter, screen or covering to the intake face.
Method and apparatus for providing test ports
A filter apparatus and method having a test port member in combination with a filter media. The test port member may be positioned adjacent the outer periphery of the outer peripheral frame and may be attached to a truncated portion of the filter media. One or more scrim layers may be disposed across one or more sides of the test port member and/or the truncated portion of the filter media. A plug may be inserted into a through port of the test port member.
Road vehicle having an ambient air purification device, ambient air purification device and filter element
A road vehicle with a vehicle frame and a rear axle connected to the vehicle frame is provided with an ambient air purification device with filter elements for removing dust, particulate matter, and gases from ambient air. The ambient air purification device is arranged transverse to a longitudinal vehicle axis in an exterior region of the road vehicle at a vehicle rear of the road vehicle in an underfloor region such that at least the filter elements are arranged behind the rear axle of the road vehicle in a travel direction of the road vehicle. The ambient air purification device is received in an installation space of the vehicle frame. The ambient air purification device is flowed through in longitudinal vehicle direction. A free outflow zone of the ambient air purification device is arranged, in travel direction of the road vehicle, behind the ambient air purification device.
Pollutant capturer and mobilizer
Disclosed are a pollutant capturer and mobilizer and method of mobilizing a polluted gaseous substance from one location towards another location and capturing one or multiple types of polluting substances, such as CO.sub.2, from an atmospheric body of polluted gaseous substance or from exhaust of vehicles, chimneys, or stacks and thereby combat the negative health, environmental, and economic impacts of the of the polluting substances on communities. Wet or dry embodiments of the pollutant capturer and mobilizer utilize wet or dry pollutant capturing components, respectively, to capture one or multiple types of polluting substances from a body of polluted gaseous substance. Flow establishing devices can be used to set the body of polluted gaseous substance in motion through the pollutant capturing component. The pollutant capturer and mobilizer may also be mounted on any type of vehicles, with or without using flow establishing devices.
FILTER MODULE FOR THE SEPARATION OF OVERSPRAY
A filter module, including a plurality of filter elements for separating overspray from an air flow, the filter module including a reusable and cleanable frame configured as a support structure for components for collecting overspray, and a plurality of components inserted into the frame for collecting overspray, wherein the components for collecting overspray are at least filter elements and linings in the frame, which are configured as disposable, single-use products the filter elements form at least a first filter stage, and all the surfaces of the frame which are exposed to the air flow upstream of the first filter stage are provided with the linings such that the surfaces of the frame are protected against overspray.
Multi-stage filter assembly
In one aspect, a modular filter assembly for filtering fluid that flows in a flow direction therethrough is disclosed. The assembly includes a first housing section having a first filter element; a second housing section having a second filter element; and a connector disposed between the first and second housing sections. A housing includes the first housing section, the connector, and the second housing section. The flow direction is through the first and second filter elements in series.
Screen assembly for construction vehicle
A screen assembly adapted to be removably coupled to an air filter of a construction vehicle includes a frame member including a first portion and a second portion. The screen assembly includes a screen member coupled to the frame member such that a hollow space is defined by the screen member and the frame member. The screen member includes a plurality of perforations adapted to allow passage of air therethrough. The plurality of perforations are further adapted to restrict an ingress of debris into the hollow space of the screen assembly.
FILTER UNIT AND FILTERING METHOD
A filter unit to be utilized in a continuous flow engine wherein the filter unit is adapted to filter a fluid stream, preferably a gas stream, wherein the filter unit provides a strainer part providing two strainer surfaces, wherein at least one of the two strainer surfaces is not planar. A kit contains a filter unit of this type and a counterpart adapted receive the filter unit, wherein the counterpart is adapted to be used as part of the continuous flow engine. A method utilizes such filter unit or kit.
