Manipulation system for the stimulation of cognitive abilities
An object manipulation system comprising a storage device and a plurality of objects, which are configured to be placed within the storage device and separately taken from the storage device. The object manipulation system helps stimulate cognitive abilities of a user and provide quality of life moments without the need for supervision by allowing the user to arrange the items according to one or more arranging cues. The object manipulation system also helps stimulate blood flow of the hands and arms of the user and provides the added stimulating benefits of exercise and flexibility by enabling the user to bend and manipulate one or more manipulative devices of the system. Particularly, in some embodiments, the plurality of objects are bendable and are able to be bent and manipulated as the objects are taken from the storage device and arranged according to the one or more arranging cues.
LEARNING RULER ALLOWING THREE-DIMENSIONAL PLAY
A learning ruler allowing three-dimensional play, comprising: a body having a plate shape and at least one or more scales formed thereon so as to measure a length; and at least one or more stereoscopic plates formed by cutting parts of the body so as to be detachably attached to the body and to be three-dimensionally set on the top surface of the body by means of attachment means after being separated from the body.
Tactile, interactive neuromorphic robots
In one embodiment, a neuromorphic robot includes a curved outer housing that forms a continuous curved outer surface, a plurality of trackball touch sensors provided on and extending across the continuous curved outer surface in an array, each trackball sensor being configured to detect a direction and velocity a sweeping stroke of a user, and a plurality of lights, one light being collocated with each trackball touch sensor and being configured to illuminate when its collocated trackball touch sensor is stroked by the user, wherein the robot is configured to interpret the sweeping stroke of the user sensed with the plurality of trackball touch sensors and to provide immediate visual feedback to the user at the locations of the touched trackball touch sensors.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED GAME
A computer device has a display which display game elements. A first type of game elements is associated with a matching characteristics of an ordered set of matching characteristics. At least one processor is configured to determine that at least three game elements have at least one common matching characteristic to satisfy a match condition and at least one of said game elements satisfying said match condition is of the first type. The first type of game elements in the match are removed if a current matching characteristic is a last matching characteristic of the respective ordered set or changed a next characteristic of the set.
Puzzle and a method of making thereof
A puzzle including a background puzzle surface having printed thereon a background puzzle image including image areas and blank areas, and at least one puzzle piece formed of a transparent material having printed thereon a puzzle piece image including image areas and blank transparent areas. When solving the puzzle, the at least one puzzle piece is superimposed over the background puzzle surface, and is moved thereon to a correct location in which the image areas of the background puzzle image together with the image areas of the puzzle piece image match and form a cohesive image.
FUSIBLE TOY BEAD
A fusible toy bead includes a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses.
FUSIBLE TOY BEAD
A fusible toy bead includes a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses.
Assembling beads on a beading board
An apparatus for holding beads in a pattern has a beading board having a base with a bottom side and a top side. A plurality of posts project out from the top side of the base and are configured to extend through holes in beads to hold the beads in lateral position relative to each other. The apparatus has a perforated panel having perforations that are larger in width than the posts, and the perforated panel is configured to be removably placed on the beading board with the posts extending through the perforations. The perforated panel slides along the posts and sliding of the perforated causes beads placed on the posts to slide vertically along the length of the posts.
Finger flick ball game
The invention is a game for amusement including a cabinet, a ball and one or more targets wherein the ball can be flicked by a player's finger in an attempt to contact, engage or activate the one or more targets.
CONTROLLING A USER INTERFACE OF A COMPUTER DEVICE
A computer device comprising a user interface, a processor, and a graphics rendering component. The user interface is configured to display user actuatable game elements, each user actuatable game element displayed on a respective tile, and to detect user input when a user engages with at least one of said user actuatable game elements in a move. The processor is configured to determine, on detecting the match game condition, whether at least one tile of the respective tiles associated with the at least three actuatable game elements of the match condition has a tile characteristic indicating an attained background appearance and, if so, to modify the tile characteristic of each tile of the respective tiles associated with the at least three actuatable game elements of the match condition not indicating an attained background appearance to indicate an attained background appearance.
