Odor-Resistant Food Storage Container
The present invention relates to a reusable food storage container designed to store food items while preventing the odor of stored food from being retained in the container material. The container has a base comprised of odor-resistant material, such as stainless steel or glass, and has a lid with an embedded replaceable charcoal filter. The charcoal filter is configured to absorb odor emanating from stored food items. The container can comprise different sizes, designs, shapes, and colors and can be washed and reused. In one embodiment, a lid of the container has a cavity for embedding the charcoal filter, and in another embodiment, the bottom surface of the lid has a frame with a continuous channel for accommodating the charcoal filter. The lid is configured to seal the stored food material using a skirt wall for preserving the food items.
O.SUB.2 .concentrator with sieve bed bypass and control method thereof
An oxygen concentrator includes one or more adsorbent sieve beds operable to remove nitrogen from air to produce concentrated oxygen gas at respective outlets thereof, a product tank fluidly coupled to the respective outlets of the sieve bed(s), a compressor operable to pressurize ambient air, one or more sieve bed flow paths from the compressor to respective inlets of the sieve bed(s), a bypass flow path from the compressor to the product tank that bypasses the sieve bed(s), and a valve unit operable to selectively allow flow of pressurized ambient air from the compressor along the one or more sieve bed flow paths and along the bypass flow path in response to a control signal. The valve unit may be controlled in response to a command issued by a ventilator based on a calculated or estimated total flow of gas and entrained air or % FiO.sub.2 of a patient.
Device and method for low energy atmospheric water generation
According to the present invention there is provided a device and method for atmospheric water harvesting operative in an alternating sequence of an absorption phase and a desorption phase. The device comprises an air permeable adsorbent substrate being subject to an atmospheric airflow during the absorption phase and being subject to a circulated airflow during the desorption phase. The device further comprises a liquid heated heat radiation element embedded in the adsorbent substrate and a heated liquid heating media being circulated in the heat radiation element during the desorption phase. The device may further comprise air shutters, where the direction of the atmospheric airflow being substantially transversal to the direction of the circulated airflow. The air shutters are capable of blocking an entrance and an exit of the atmospheric airflow during the desorption phase.
METHOD FOR INDICATING EXCHANGE OF A FUEL VAPOR ABSORBER AND A VEHICLE WITH AN INDICATOR THEREFORE
An indicator is provided in a vehicle for indicating necessity of change of a fuel vapor absorber in a venting line of a vehicle tank, especially a methanol tank for fuel cell vehicles.
PARTICLE CAPTURING SYSTEM AND PARTICLE CAPTURING METHOD
Provided is a particle capturing system and a particle capturing system capable of capturing even small particles to be captured in a gas phase.
The particle capturing system according to the present technology includes: an acoustic aggregation device that aggregates particles to be captured in a gas phase by applying sound waves to the particles to be captured; and an aggregate capturing device that charges particle aggregates obtained by aggregating the particles to be captured in the gas phase and captures the particle aggregates with an electrostatic force.
Air purifier
An air purifier (100) includes a housing (400) formed with an air duct (401), an ozone generation device (20), an activated carbon purification unit (80), and a fan (200) arranged in the air duct (401). The air duct (401) includes an air inlet (402) and an air outlet (403). The air outlet (403) is disposed indoors. The ozone generation device (20) and the activated carbon purification unit (80) are arranged in the air duct (401) along the direction of the air inlet to the air outlet (403), and the ozone generation device (20) is used to generate ozone. The fan (200) is used to suck gas from the air inlet (402) during operation and let the gas pass through the ozone generation device (20) and the activated carbon purification unit (80) to be discharged from the air outlet (403) into the room.
